As part of the institutionalization of the benchmarking activity, a formal inter-library partnership was established through the ex*****on of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the University of the Assumption and the City College of San Jose del Monte.
The agreement was represented by Rev. Fr. Oliver G. Yalung, DL, PhD, President of the University of the Assumption, and Ms. Eleziel C. Cantimbuhan, OIC President of the City College of San Jose del Monte, as authorized representatives of their respective institutions. The MOA signing was witnessed by Roilingel Calilung, Director of the University Library and Archives, and Rionah L. Celis, Head Librarian of CCSJDM. Also present during the ceremony was Assistant VPAA Michaella D. Castillo.
The following initiatives mainly aim to enrich both institutionsโ library collections; provide access to expanded library resources and services not only for students but also for faculty members and other staff through referral and resource-sharing mechanisms; create opportunities for professional development and mentoring for librarians; and encourage involvement in a wider inter-library network to provide broader access to collections, facilities, and services across partner institutions.
Together, let us aspire for the continuous betterment of CCSJDM as it strives to strengthen its institutional systems in delivering quality education.
