As 𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬, we learn to appreciate the beauty of the unseen—those tiny glands that quietly power our growth, energy, and balance. 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 10 𝐒𝐓𝐄 brought the body's glands to life!

‎Featuring the 𝗽𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆, 𝘁𝗵𝘆𝗿𝗼𝗶𝗱, 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘆𝗿𝗼𝗶𝗱, 𝗮𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗹, 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀, and 𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀, as well as the 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝘀 and 𝗼𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀.

‎Through creative diagrams and detailed models, the presentation turned complex biological processes into something easy to understand and exciting to explore.

💡A 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 refers to the 𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘴𝘶𝘣𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘴 that is released into the environment and causes 𝘱𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯. A pollutant can be the source of pollution, which harms the environment in variety of ways, such as 𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗶𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, which leads to 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲, 𝗯𝗶𝗼𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘀, 𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗱 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗿𝘂𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. -Industrial Discharges
-Vehicle Emissions
📌𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁: When oil covers the water, air cannot get through it. This means that there is not enough oxygen in the water, which can lead to the death of marine animals.

📌𝗔𝗶𝗿: Particulate Matter
📌𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀:
-Dust
-Smoke
📌𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁: When particulate matter is inhaled by a human being, it can cause respiratory problems such as asthma, bronchitis, and other lung diseases.

🌍𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 can be very harmful to our environment and its organisms. We can prevent this by taking small but meaningful steps to help make the Earth 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙧 and 𝙘𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙚𝙧.

𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 discovered the first true antibiotic, 𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧, in 𝟏𝟗𝟐𝟖.

Fleming left for a two-week vacation, leaving unwashed dishes in his apartment’s sink. When he got back, he saw that a mold had formed a halo-like shape on the plate, avoiding the bacteria 𝚂𝚝𝚊𝚙𝚑𝚢𝚕𝚘𝚌𝚘𝚌𝚌𝚞𝚜.

𝕀𝕌ℙ𝔸ℂ, which stands for International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry, sets the global rules for chemical nomenclature. Every prefix, number, and suffix you see in a chemical name has a purpose — from showing the length of carbon chains to identifying functional groups and molecular structures. Through this system, chemists around the world can understand each other clearly, no matter the language or location.

When working with 𝕀𝕌ℙ𝔸ℂ naming, accuracy is everything. A single misplaced number or letter can change the entire structure of a compound. That’s why learning IUPAC isn’t just memorization — it’s understanding the logic behind how molecules are built. It’s the key to navigating chemistry safely, correctly, and scientifically.

𝕃𝕒𝕤𝕖𝕣𝕤 is also an acronym, which stands for 𝐿𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡 𝐴𝑚𝑝𝑙𝑖𝑓𝑖𝑐𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑏𝑦 𝑆𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑢𝑙𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑑 𝐸𝑚𝑖𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑜𝑓 𝑅𝑎𝑑𝑖𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛, which is how it exactly works! By the stimulation of photons from excited atoms and molecules, it produces an intense beam of monochromatic and coherent light.

When working with 𝕃𝕒𝕤𝕖𝕣𝕤, it's very important to take safety precautions as it can lead to various hazards and damages like eye damage and skin cancer from exposure. It can also cause electrical damage and fire if not handled properly.

Through months of hard work and dedication, our young researchers presented their studies, defended their findings, and engaged in meaningful discussions with our panel of evaluators. Their commitment to scientific inquiry and innovation was truly evident throughout the event.

To our research advisers, evaluators, and everyone who supported this initiative—thank you for guiding and challenging us to push the boundaries of knowledge. And to Sir Oliver Aleluya, we appreciate the thoughtful celebration with a cake, marking the success of this milestone.
