The 4th Pinning and Candle Lighting Ceremony marks a significant milestone in the journey of Political Science students—one that reflects not only academic progress, but a growing sense of purpose and responsibility. Each pin placed and each candle lit symbolizes their commitment to understanding governance, engaging in public service, and exploring human behavior as they prepare to serve society.

As future leaders, policymakers, public servants, researchers, and advocates, these students continue to be shaped by both theory and lived realities. Their journey in Political Science is defined by critical thinking, ethical reflection, and a shared aspiration to contribute meaningfully to their communities.

This ceremony honors how far they have come and the values they carry forward as they move closer to their chosen paths. Guided by purpose and illuminated by responsibility, Political Science students take another step toward becoming thoughtful, principled, and service-oriented changemakers.

With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of our dear classmate, Her Jayson Gudito. You will always be remembered and deeply missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones.
