The Jesus Is Lord (JIL) Church Campus Ministry, through its Kristiyanong Kabataan para sa Bayan (KKB) Organization, conducted a free water and prayer outreach for students and teachers at Citrus National High School (CNHS), providing refreshments and spiritual support through various activities.

As part of the outreach, participants received free drinking water and biscuits after scanning a QR code, following the KKB Connect page, and spinning a prize wheel. They were also given Bible verses and candies and were invited to take souvenir photos with their friends.

The activity featured a prayer request station where students could write their personal intentions and place them in a prayer bowl. Campus ministry members said they would include these requests in their prayers, together with prayers for the students' safety and well-being.

According to the organizers, the outreach was inspired by Revelation 21:6, which speaks of giving the "water of life" to those who thirst. Through the activity, the ministry sought to provide both physical refreshment and spiritual encouragement while inviting interested students to join the church's youth fellowship.

The outreach was organized and funded by the Jesus Is Lord Church Campus Ministry under the leadership of Campus Ministry President Jamaica Pearl Nacman and adviser Brenda Soler.

The organizers said the initiative aimed to serve the school community by extending care through simple acts of generosity and faith.

Aiming to ease the hunger of CNHS students, especially with the opening of Intramurals 2026, the school provided free lugaw and taho to students, players and teachers.

Spearheaded by the School Parents-Teachers Association (SPTA) and supported by Mayor Florida "Ate Rida" Robes, hot lugaw was served in the afternoon, acting as a free snack for everyone, particularly for the athletes and participants.

Meanwhile, earlier that morning, Sir Rommel E. Paradeza provided free taho, which was eagerly received and enjoyed by the students who flocked to get a serving.

"Masaya kaming makapagbigay ng simpleng tulong sa mga Citrusian. Sana ay marami ang natuwa, nabusog, at natulungan sa gawaing ito", SPTA said.

Sir Paradeza also stated that, as part of the CNHS community, he wanted to show his support through this modest snack. He expressed hope that this gesture brought happiness to the students.

Furthermore, the SPTA also assured everyone that they would do their utmost and diligently fulfill their duties for the school and for its students.

In return, the Citrusians expressed their gratitude for the kindness and cooperation shown by the SPTA, local officials, and school personnel.

CNHS officially launched the Soft Opening of Intramurals 2026 with the Oath-Taking Ceremony of Players and Coaches, who pledged to uphold sportsmanship, fair play, discipline, and teamwork throughout the competition.
