‎Have you ever wondered why ice floats? 🤔

‎Since it’s known that solid objects are denser and have more weight than liquids - and ice is a solid - one would automatically think that ice would sink in water. But it doesn’t! What’s so special about ice that causes it to float? Believe it or not, ice is actually about 9% less dense than water. Since the water is heavier, it displaces the lighter ice, causing the ice to float to the top. It's molecules arrange into a rigid and spread out and form a crystal structure.

🧠 Did You Know? The Octopus Has Three Hearts and Nine Brains! 🐙

That's right—this underwater genius isn't just a master of camouflage and escape; it's a biological marvel. An octopus has three hearts: two pump blood to the gills, and one pumps it to the rest of the body. But here's the kicker—the main heart stops beating when it swims, which is why octopuses prefer crawling to conserve energy!

And it gets even cooler: they have nine brains. One central brain controls the nervous system, while each of their eight arms has its own mini-brain, allowing the arms to act semi-independently. That means an octopus can literally multitask in ways we can't even imagine—like opening a jar with one arm while exploring a cave with another.

No wonder they're often called the aliens of the sea—with such a bizarre yet brilliant setup, they're one of the most intelligent and mysterious creatures on Earth.
