In accordance with Division Memorandum No. 0459, s. 2026, entitled โSynchronized Conduct of the School Monitoring, Evaluation, and Adjustment (SMEA) for Term 1, School Year 2026โ2027,โ schools are encouraged to undertake a systematic process of monitoring and evaluating the implementation of their programs, projects, activities, and interventions.
The School Monitoring, Evaluation, and Adjustment (SMEA) is an important mechanism for determining the progress of school operations and instructional programs, assessing accomplishments against targets, identifying gaps and challenges, and formulating appropriate adjustments and responsive actions. It provides school personnel with an opportunity to examine evidence and data, reflect on their accomplishments, share good practices, and strengthen interventions for improved learner outcomes.
In support of this initiative, Erenas Elementary School successfully conducted the SMEA for Term 1, School Year 2026โ2027, headed by the School Head, Ma'am Gina B. Raquel and was monitored by Ma'am Maritess C. Peralta, District In-Charge, ensuring that the conduct of the activity was aligned with the prescribed guidelines and objectives of the Division. The activity featured the presentation of outputs and accomplishments by the different Grade level Advisers and the Administrative Officer II, highlighting the school's progress, accomplishments, challenges encountered, and proposed actions for continuous improvement.
The successful conduct of the SMEA reflects the school's commitment to accountability, collaboration, evidence-based decision-making, and continuous improvement in the delivery of quality basic education.
