ADVANCE ROTC OFFICERS’ DUTY AND TRAINING ACTIVITY REPORT

On 190700 August 2026 (Wednesday), the designated Advance ROTC Officers and duty personnel of the Northwest Samar State University–San Jorge Campus ROTC Unit, namely C/CPT FRAN'Z AURELIA B LINTAG 2CL, C/CPT GINELYN V BOLASTIG 2CL, and C/CPT JOHN PAUL L GABON 2CL, conducted a clean-up drive within the vicinity of the DMST Office.

The clean-up activity commenced at approximately 0600H and aimed to promote cleanliness, orderliness, and responsibility within the ROTC working area. The activity was successfully concluded at exactly 1130H.

In the afternoon, the designated officers conducted a practical training session for the Aspiring Cadets, focusing on proper military bearing and basic military courtesy. The training covered the proper position of attention, saluting, reporting, facing movements, proper marching, and the proper handling of rifles. The aspiring cadets were given practical training on the correct way of holding and handling their assigned training weapons, emphasizing safety, discipline, responsibility, and adherence to military customs and courtesies.

The activity was assisted by C/MAJ BONIFACIO L ARRAZA 1CL and C/MAJ LEJIM S DUENA 1CL, under the supervision of C/COL CHRISTIAN JAMES L MABUBAY 1CL, Corps Commander. Through the guidance and active participation of the officers and aspiring cadets, the training contributed to developing discipline, confidence, proper bearing, responsible weapon handling, and military professionalism among the participants.

The afternoon training activity concluded at approximately 1700H on the same day.

ADVANCE ROTC OFFICERS’ DUTY AND TRAINING ACTIVITY REPORT

On 181500 August 2026 (Tuesday) the designated Advance ROTC Officers and duty personnel of the Northwest Samar State University–San Jorge Campus ROTC Unit, namely C/CPT MARIFE N MOLLEDA 2CL, C/CPT ZAICY T MONTANO 2CL and C/CPT ELWIN D GABANE 2CL, conducted a clean-up drive within the vicinity of the DMST Office.

On 171700 August 2026 (Monday) the Northwest Samar State University–San Jorge Campus ROTC Unit conducted a Reveille activity for all 1CL and 2CL Officers.

The activity was designed to enhance the officers’ physical fitness, endurance, discipline and teamwork, while strengthening camaraderie and military bearing.

The activity was led by C/COL CHRISTIAN JAMES MABUBAY 1CL Corps Commander and was held at the NwSSU–San Jorge Campus Field.

The Northwest Samar State University – San Jorge Campus (NwSSU–SJC) successfully conducted its Monday Flag Raising Ceremony, participated in by the faculty, staff, students, freshmen and the Advance ROTC Officers of the NwSSU–SJC ROTC Unit.

The ceremony was led by C/COL CHRISTIAN JAMES MABUBAY, 1CL, Corps Commander as the Advance ROTC Officers stood alongside the university community in rendering honor and respect to the Philippine Flag.

The activity served as a meaningful expression of patriotism, discipline, unity and commitment to duty, reinforcing the values expected of every student and ROTC cadet.

The ceremony successfully concluded at 0830H on the same day.

On the same day, the activity also featured a demonstration of basic military drills and ceremonies, including the Manual of Arms, highlighting the importance of discipline, proper bearing, coordinated movements, and the precise ex*****on of commands.

The demonstration was led by C/COL CHRISTIAN JAMES L MABUBAY, 1CL, under the supervision of PFC James T Barola (Inf) PA. Through this activity, the newly oriented Basic ROTC Cadets and Cadettes were given the opportunity to observe, learn, and gain a deeper understanding of the fundamental drills, ceremonies, and standards expected in ROTC training.

The activity emphasized that discipline, precision, teamwork, and proper military bearing are essential foundations in developing responsible and competent ROTC cadets. The activity concluded at 1200H on the same day.

On 16 August 2026 at 0900H, MAJ ESTHER NATIVIDAD J DASMARINAS PA (RES), Commandant; 2LT NOΓ‘ITO P GARCISO PA (RES), Assistant Commandant; PFC James T Barola (Inf) PA, Admin/NCO; and Mr. RIOZYN V DACUNO, NSTP Coordinator, together with twenty-three (23) Advance ROTC Officers led by C/COL CHRISTIAN JAMES L MABUBAY, 1CL, Corps Commander of the Northwest Samar State University ROTC Unit, spearheaded an Orientation Program for Basic ROTC Cadets and Cadettes held at the Northwest Samar State University–San Jorge Campus Covered Court.

Following the orientation program, the activity proceeded with the Turnover of Command, followed by the Pinning and Donning of Ranks, led by MAJ ESTHER NATIVIDAD J DASMARINAS PA (RES), Commandant; The ceremony formally recognized the promotion and assumption of responsibilities of the twenty-three (23) Advance ROTC Officers, composed of ten (10) First Class (1CL) and thirteen (13) Second Class (2CL) officers. MISSION β€’ DISCIPLINE β€’ READINESS

On 101700 August 2026 (Monday) The Northwest Samar State University San Jorge Campus ROTC Unit successfully conducted a Reveille activity for all 1CL and 2CL Cadet Officers at the NwSSU–San Jorge Campus Field.

The activity was conducted to enhance the cadet officers’ physical fitness, endurance, discipline, mental toughness and overall readiness, reinforcing the core values expected of future military leaders.

The activity was led by C/LTC CHRISTIAN JAMES MABUBAY 1CL, Corps Commander, under the supervision of Sgt Delcamilo L Catalan PA (Res), GMA together with Sgt Glaidel T Casurao PA (Res), GMA.

Through sustained physical training and disciplined participation, the cadet officers demonstrated their commitment to leadership, teamwork, and military preparedness.

The activity was conducted at the NwSSU–San Jorge Campus Field and concluded at approximately 1830H on the same day.
