On July 29, 2026, the First Year and Second Year BS Midwifery (BSM) students received their first dose of the Hepatitis B vaccine as part of the program's health and safety requirements in preparation for their future clinical exposure.

Last July 29, 2026, our First Year and Second Year BS Midwifery students successfully received their 1st dose of the Hepatitis B vaccine, a required immunization in preparation for their clinical exposure.

Our 1st Year BS Midwifery students actively participated in their classroom group activity in Introduction to Health Care Theory core course, exploring the Concept of Competencies of a Midwife. Through collaborative learning, they strengthened their understanding of the essential knowledge, skills, attitudes, and professional values required to provide safe, competent, and compassionate midwifery care.

The College of Health Sciences successfully conducted the Hepatitis B (HEPA) Screening for our First Year and Second Year Bachelor of Science in Midwifery (BSM) students last Saturday, July 25, 2026

This initiative is part of our commitment to ensuring the health, safety, and clinical readiness of our future midwives before their exposure to hospitals and affiliated healthcare facilities.

We extend our sincere appreciation to MedExpert Laboratory for conducting the screening and to everyone who made this activity possible.

Our 2nd Year BS Midwifery students put learning into action as they conducted health education sessions in their PMSTHE (Principles, Methods, and Strategies in Teaching Health Education) core course.
