Unity and Artistry Shine in SJNHS Belen Making Contest

The spirit of unity fills San Jacintians as students and teachers from various grade levels collaborate to make their own belen entries for the Belen Making Contest.

The contest was held from December 3 to December 4, with the participants having two days to finish their piece. Each group poured their effort into making a belen from indigenous and recycled materials, highlighting their creativity and resourcefulness. Through the power of their creativity and unity, all participants succeeded in creating symbolic and visually striking belens, each with their own unique styles.

The contest is part of the celebration for the 36th Foundation Day of San Jacinto National High School, showcasing the school's commitment in promoting collaboration and unity amongst the learners and teachers in San Jacinto National High School.

Learners Bring Bible Characters Into the Spotlight at Wear Your Bible Character 2025 Competition

As part of the 2025 Filipino Values Month celebration, with the theme: "BAGONG PILIPINAS, BAGONG PAG-ASA: Pagkakaisa at Pananagutan para sa Makabuluhang Pagbabago", students from various grade levels gathered to showcase their knowledge, skills, and talents through a series of competitions and activities, including the Poster and Slogan Making Competition, Quiz Bee, Bible Quiz Bee, and the Tula Making Contest.

Among the many contests, the main highlight of the event was the Wear Your Bible Character 2025 Competition. Students brought biblical characters to life, portraying their stories by embodying their faith and courage, as well as the values and lessons brought behind by each character. Aside from that, event also reinforced the importance of these biblical and moral values, leaving a lasting impact on both the participants and the audience.

The Search for Mr. and Ms. TechVoc 2025 Begins

Cheers fill the court as the Mister and Miss TechVoc 2025 competition begins here at San Jacinto National High School.

The competition was kickstarted by
a colorful and energetic dance and singing performances by students from San Jacinto National High School.

After the intermission numbers, the pageant proceeded to the casual and office wear portion, where the contestants showcased their confidence and style in their casual and office wear outfits. The pageant then proceeded onto the Techno Wear portion. The contestants wore technology-inspired outfits, dressing up as inspiring jobs which shape the modern world's landscape. And finally, the Question and Answer portion tested the contestants' wit, knowledge, and speaking ability.

Innovation and Creativity Take Center Stage at 2025 Cluster Technolympics

The 2025 Cluster Technolympics has officially begun here at San Jacinto National High School today, on November 28.

With the theme "Embracing Skills in TVL/TVE/TLE, Ensuring Progress and Sustainability," the event features various competitions. These being P**o Making, Pandesal Making, Cake Making, Nail Art, Hair Style, Facial Day Make-Up, TechVoc Jingle Competition, Singing Contest, Innovative Fish and Innovative Meat Contests, Butchering and Cooking Chicken Contest, and the Mr. and Ms. TechVoch Competition.

The contestants proudly showcase their skills and creativity as they come together to represent their respective schools and municipalities, creating an atmosphere filled with excitement and camaraderie.

SJNHS dominates English Municipal Festival of Talents '25

San Jacinto National High School emerged as the overall champion in the English categories of the Municipal Festival of Talents held on November 17, 2025, at Lobong National High School. The schoolโ€™s delegates turned in strong performances throughout the event, securing all the top spots.

In the realm of Spelling Bee, Althea Zoe P. Fernandez won first place, while Althea Rose V. Rosario finished third. They were coached by Maria Trinidad G. Perez and Rowena H. Nerizon. San Jacintians also showed excellence in Quiz Bee, with Angelo Kenn Ian C. Lagera taking first place and Amieleah Angel Q. Gamboa placing third under the guidance of coaches Loida G. Jugo and Carolyn E. Pancho.

With her bright pen, Essay Writing champion Athena Mikaela I. Banzon added another gold for SJNHS, coached by Racquel A. Loresco. The school continued its sweep in the Pecha Kucha category, with Andrei Kyle C. Laguit securing first place, Royce Derick A. Guillermo placing second, and Cassandra Jave A. Vidal earning third. They were trained by Vina G. Reyes and Mary Ann F. Lucas.

Meanwhile, in the Senior High Department, SJNHS also excelled in Spoken Word Poetry and Impromptu Speaking. In Spoken Word Poetry, Akiya Fhrix S. Lagulao won first place, followed by Alliyah Jewel S. Gumpeng in second and Kaycee Coreen V. Calpito in third, coached by Blasilda Eclevia. In Impromptu Speaking, Terence Philip S. Gabion took first place, while Precious A. Ramirez placed third, under the guidance of coach Richmund D. Abalos.

With these consistent wins, San Jacinto National High School proudly brought home the first-place overall title in the MFOT English. All of these were possible with the unending support and love by the English Department Head, Dr. Marinell M. Castro, and School Head, Dr. Flora E. Condes.

San Jacinto NHS celebrates National Science Club Month 2025

In a vibrant celebration of Science and Technology, San Jacinto National High School (SJNHS) proudly celebrated the National Science Club Month, with the theme: โ€œSpatialyze: Surveying Societies, Sensing Solutionsโ€

The celebration began by featuring a Science Exhibit held last October 6, 2025, where students showcased their creativity and curiosity through interactive experiments, engaging games, and fun activities.

On October 10, 2025, the event was led by emcees Mrs. Michelle G. Macaraeg and Sir Gian Carlo E. Condes, where students from different grade levels unleashed their full potential, during the Interpretative Dance and Robotics Dance competition, which was followed by an awarding ceremony of different categories, with the two aforementioned competitions being the last.

Even though the event has formally ended, the field of Science and Technology continues to shine, shedding light to the future and paving a path for future inventions and innovations.

In a vibrant display of cultural appreciation, teachers of San Jacinto National high school celebrated ASEAN Month during flag ceremony and the Grade 7 students participated the said flag raising, their teachers proudly donned traditional ASEAN attire, with some wearing Traditional clothes of different Asian countries, showcasing the rich heritage of the region.

Last week's flag ceremony served as an educational opportunity, where students learned about ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations), a political and economic union of 10 member states in Southeast Asia, promoting intergovernmental cooperation and facilitating economic, political, security, military, educational, and sociocultural integration. Founded on August 8, 1967, ASEAN aims to accelerate economic growth, social progress, and cultural development in the region, as well as promote regional peace and stability.

This visual representation of ASEAN's diverse cultures through the teachers' attire provided a meaningful and engaging learning experience for the students, reinforcing the importance of understanding and appreciating the wider Southeast Asian community.

In line with the month-long celebration of Buwan ng Wika, San Jacintians showcased their talents in Masining na Pagkukwento and Sabayang Pagbigkas during the competitions held last August 15, 2025 at the SJNHS campus.

The Grade 7 students showcased their outstanding storytelling skill in Masining na Pagkukuwento, which has certainly amazed the panel of judges.โœจ๏ธ On the other hand, Grade 8 students delivered a powerful performance of Sabayang Pagbigkas during the elimination round, where their voices raised as high as the sun!โ˜€๏ธ

The events highlighted not only the talent, but also the teamwork, passion, and confidence of San Jacintiansโ€”proving the strength and beauty of our language and culture.

The month-long celebration of Buwan ng Wika promises more activities and events to come.

However, ongoing rainfall and potential flooding in school campuses leave school attendance to parental decision.
