The Bachelor of Arts in Political Science successfully conducted its Immersion and Team Building Activity, bringing together students, faculty members, and department officers in an experience centered on service, compassion, leadership, and community engagement.

The activity served as an avenue for our students to strengthen their bonds, develop teamwork, and deepen their understanding of the value of serving others. More than an academic experience, the immersion reminded us that true leadership is rooted in compassion, responsibility, and a genuine commitment to uplifting others.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our distinguished speaker, Atty. Mark Jeric, De Los Santos, for sharing his valuable insights, experiences, and inspiration with our students. Your presence and meaningful message contributed greatly to the success of this activity.

Our heartfelt gratitude also goes to the dedicated faculty members of the College of Liberal Arts, for their unwavering support, guidance, and commitment to our students.

🎒📚 A HOPE TO LEARN, A HEART TO SERVE: Bridging Hearts, Empowering Young Minds, and Building Brighter Futures 💙

As part of the Immersion and Team Building of the Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, of Liceo de San Jacinto Foundation, Inc. extended a simple yet meaningful gesture of service through a School Supplies Distribution Activity for the elementary students of Liceo de San Jacinto Foundation, Inc.

The activity provided essential school supplies to help support the students in their daily learning journey, including:

More than the materials we shared, this activity reminds us that education becomes more meaningful when we choose to serve, share, and uplift others. Through this initiative, the BA Political Science students demonstrated that service is not only learned inside the classroom-it is practiced through compassion, community engagement, and meaningful action.

The Bachelor of Arts In Political, extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Elementary School Principal and the dedicated Elementary School Teachers for warmly welcoming us and for their continued commitment to nurturing and educating our young learners.

PLANTING ROOTS, GROWING HOPE: NURTURING NATURE, BUILDING A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE

The Bachelor of Arts in Political Science of the College of Liberal Arts, Liceo de San Jacinto Foundation, Inc. successfully conducted a meaningful Tree Planting Activity at Sitio Tacdugan, Brgy. Bagahanglad, San Jacinto, Masbate.

Guided by the theme “Planting Roots, Growing Hope: Nurturing Nature, Building a Sustainable Future,” the activity brought together 335 BA Political Science students in partnership with PAMO, TBPPS, and CENRO San Jacinto. Together, our students planted mangrove propagules, taking a meaningful step toward environmental protection and community sustainability.

Beyond planting propagules, this activity reflects the values of responsibility, active citizenship, community engagement, and environmental stewardship-reminding us that the work of building a better future begins with small but purposeful actions today.

The BA Political Science Department sincerely thanks PAMO, TBPPS, and CENRO San Jacinto for their invaluable partnership, guidance, and support in making this environmental initiative possible.

TREE PLANTING & ECO-HIKE 2026 🌳

The Bachelor of Arts in Political Science Department of Liceo de San Jacinto Foundation, Inc. proudly participated in the Tree Planting and Eco-Hike Activity organized by the DENR-CENRO San Jacinto in celebration of Philippine Bamboo Day on September 22, 2026, held at the Diwata Watershed Forest Reserve, Barangay Luna, San Jacinto, Masbate.

The delegation was headed by Ms. Larrin E. Lignes, Assistant to the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts, together with Mr. Jhon Mike, Borabon, CWTS, LTS, and SB-NSRC Coordinator, and was joined by the BA Political Science Officers and NSTP Officers, who actively participated in this meaningful environmental activity. 🌱💚

The activity provided our students with an opportunity to take part in environmental conservation, support the government’s re-greening efforts, and appreciate the importance of protecting and preserving our natural resources.

Through meaningful activities like this, our students continue to learn beyond the classroom-developing not only knowledge and skills but also a sense of responsibility and service to the community and the environment.

⚖️ IMPEACHMENT SIMULATION | 4TH YEAR BA POLITICAL SCIENCE

PUTTING POLITICAL SCIENCE INTO PRACTICE!

Our 4th Year Bachelor of Arts in Political Science students conducted an Impeachment Simulation, giving them the opportunity to experience and better understand how an impeachment proceeding works through a simulated setting.

More than just learning about the process, the activity allowed our students to showcase their public speaking, argumentation, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Through presenting their arguments, responding to questions, and defending their positions, our students demonstrated confidence, preparation, and the ability to communicate their ideas clearly and effectively.
Activities like this give our students the opportunity to learn beyond the classroom and apply what they have learned through actual experience, helping them develop their ability to speak with confidence, think critically, and communicate effectively.

The Bachelor of Arts in Political Science successfully conducted a General Meeting on September 11, 2026, bringing together our students and officers to discuss important matters and coordinate preparations for the upcoming Immersion and Intramurals.

The meeting was a great opportunity to strengthen our coordination, teamwork, participation, and involvement as we prepare for these exciting and meaningful activities.
