Bago natin nakilala ang mundo, isang tinig muna ang una nating narinig. Isang yakap muna ang una nating naging tahanan. At bago pa man natin matutunang tumayo sa sarili nating mga paa, may isang babaeng tahimik nang nagsasakripisyo para sa atin—si Mama.

Sa likod ng bawat Skawt ay isang inang walang sawang umaalalay. Isang inang kasabay nating nagpupuyat para sa Board of Review (BOR). Isang inang naghihintay hanggang matapos ang bawat mga gawain at bawat ensayo.

At sa mga panahong tayo’y pinanghihinaan ng loob at gustong sumuko, siya ang unang nagsasabing, “Kaya mo ‘yan.”

Hindi man natin madalas masabi, alam nating maraming pangarap ang pansamantala nilang isinantabi upang tayo ang unahin.

Maraming pagod ang itinago sa likod ng kanilang mga ngiti. Maraming luha ang hindi nila ipinakita upang manatili tayong matatag.

Sa ating mga Ina, Lola, Tita, at Guardians—maraming salamat po.

Salamat sa pagmamahal na hindi napapagod at nauubos. Sa pag-aarugang hindi humihingi ng kapalit. At sa pusong patuloy na umiintindi kahit minsan tayo’y nagkukulang.

Maraming panahon man ang lilipas,
Maraming dahon ang malalagas,
At maraming pahina ang mapupunit sa takbo ng aming buhay—hinding-hindi mabubura ang pagmamahal at utang na loob namin sa inyo.

Mula sa pugad at puso ng mga Skawts ng Outfit-2158, isang taos-pusong pagbati ng: Maligayang Araw ng mga Ina! 💐❤️

Sapagkat ang totoo, hindi lamang ngayong araw kayo dapat ipinagdiriwang—kundi araw-araw.
