NEcija university offers medical course THE Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) in Cabanatuan City is set to offer its Doctor of Medicine program this academic year following the approval of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) to establish its College of Medicine (CoM).

The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) continues to make its mark on the global stage as it rises to Overall Rank 254 in the 2025 World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI).

NEUST President Rhodora Jugo said that the University has made a significant leap in the recently released WURI ranking, moving from 268th to 254th place globally.

“Our performance in 2025 WURI speaks volumes about how far we’ve come in making education more meaningful and responsive to the needs of our society,” said President Jugo.

“From our efforts in innovation and entrepreneurship to our strong community engagement, it is clear that the work we do at NEUST is being recognized on the world stage.”

“To all our faculty, staff, students, alumni, and partners, thank you and congratulations! This progress would not be possible without your passion and commitment.”

This year, NEUST earned recognition in three major categories, showcasing the University’s unwavering commitment to innovation, global engagement, and inclusive leadership.

NEUST achieved the Rank 17 in Empowerment-Based Management for ‘The BRIDGE’, a project spearheaded by the Office of the President and the Planning and Development Office, which highlights inclusive leadership and participative governance.

The university also secured Rank 29 in Student Mobility and Openness through the College of Education’s ‘Project iLEARN: Advancing Internationalization and Global Competence’, which promotes global citizenship and cross-cultural learning among students and faculty.
