In a significant step toward promoting stronger families, healthier communities, and more responsible learners, Igangon Integrated School and the City Government of Panabo formally signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) aimed at addressing concerns related to moral recovery, stress management, mental health awareness, and values formation.
The partnership seeks to provide parents, learners, and community members with the necessary guidance and support in resolving family conflicts, addressing behavioral concerns, and fostering positive values both at home and in school.
The MOA was signed by Mr. Richard L. Cia, School Principal of Igangon Integrated School, and representatives of the City Government of Panabo, Mr. Marck Anthony N. Tacgos and Mr. Victor Emmanuel R. Calonia II. Their shared commitment reflects a common vision of empowering individuals and strengthening the community through education, character formation, and mental wellness programs.
Serving as witnesses to this meaningful partnership were Mr. Paulo Brann Bacaron, Prefect of Discipline, and Hon. Nilo T. Manulat, Barangay Captain of Igangon, whose presence highlighted the collective support of the school and local community in advancing the welfare of learners and families.

As part of its commitment to promoting the holistic development of learners and strengthening family support systems, Igangon Integrated School successfully conducted a one-day Moral Recovery, Stress Management, Values Formation, and Mental Health Awareness Seminar in partnership with the City Government of Panabo under the leadership of Hon. Mayor Joel D. Relampagos.
The seminar brought together parents, learners, and teachers for a meaningful learning experience focused on character formation, emotional well-being, and personal growth.
To begin the program, Sir Richard L. Cia, School Principal II of Igangon IS, delivered his opening message, emphasizing the importance of nurturing healthy relationships at home and in school. He highlighted that strong family ties and positive connections play a vital role in the overall development and success of every learner.
The participants then gained valuable insights from the invited resource speakers.Sir Victor Emmanuel R. Calonia II discussed Values Formation and Mental Health Awareness, encouraging participants to uphold positive values while taking care of their mental and emotional well-being. His discussion underscored the importance of self-awareness, resilience, and maintaining a healthy mindset amid life's challenges.
Meanwhile, Sir Marck Anthony N. Tacgos shared an inspiring talk on Moral Recovery and Stress Management. He emphasized the significance of strengthening one's character, making sound decisions, and adopting healthy coping mechanisms to effectively manage stress and daily pressures.The discussion is a mixed of emotions that captivated the audiences attention.

HAPPENING TODAY || IGANGON IS STRENGTHENS EARTHQUAKE PREPAREDNESS THROUGH NSED DRILL
In response to the recent earthquakes that affected various parts of Mindanao, Igangon Integrated School intensified its earthquake preparedness efforts by conducting the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) among learners across all grade levels. The activity aimed to enhance the awareness, readiness, and safety consciousness of learners and school personnel in the event of an actual earthquake.
Leading the activity is the School Principal Sir Richard L. Cia, who emphasized the importance of participating seriously in earthquake drills, stressing that preparedness is not merely a school requirement but a vital measure for the personal safety, security, and protection of every learner and personnel. The drill was facilitated by DRRM Focal Person Jetrix Gaballo, who guided learners and teachers in properly executing the "Duck, Cover, and Hold" procedure, evacuation protocols, and safety measures during emergencies. Through this activity, Igangon Integrated School reaffirms its commitment to fostering a culture of preparedness and ensuring a safe learning environment for all.

PAHABOL SA BRIGADA | GOOD HEARTS GLOW IN FAVOR OF EDUCATION
Today, the Igangon Integrated School extends its heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Ronald Eliot, Board Member of the First District of Davao del Norte, for his generous support and invaluable contribution to our Brigada Eskwela efforts. His donation of 2 bags of cement, 2 pieces of plywood, 2 gallons of paint, and 2 brooms will greatly help in the construction and improvement of our additional classrooms, providing a more conducive learning environment for our learners.
