SMES continues to participate in the Catch Up Friday Activity!
Learning to read requires several different parts of the brain all working together. When kids are learning to read, they are learning to recognize printed letters and match them to specific sounds. This process is called phonics.
Different learning techniques were given to pupils to address differentiated learning styles.
This is a great help for them to develop self confidence in reading!
Guiding them is the best way to become a best reader!

In line with Catch Up Friday, SMES teachers prepared different learning stations that engage the learner to read. Learning is enjoyable through different games.
Teachers help the pupils in choosing the reading materials and guide them to choose and enhance their confidence in reading and this will be one way of taking a step in decision-making. They can use this for their future to achieve their career goals.

Through the guidance of SMES teachers, pupils show their love and thoughts in writing messages and posted it in the "Tree of Hearts".
This is one way of expressing their ideas and love to their parents, teachers and even their love ones.
SMES Staff distributed also chocolates to every pupils from Kinder to Grade 6. The day is full of love and sweetness🥰

It's Friday! But Holiday!
Catch Up Friday Program still on the Go through the help of our very supportive SMES Parents🥰
The Catch-Up Friday Reading Intervention program was thoughtfully designed to incorporate parental involvement, recognizing the critical role families play in supporting their children's literacy development. Through a series of interactive workshops and take-home materials, parents were equipped with the tools and strategies needed to reinforce reading skills outside the classroom.
This activity will be a great help to assess their career development needs at various points in their lives. Understand the process of effective choice of a career, clarify their objectives for the future.
