GROUND LEVELING

Isang malaking pasasalamat sa Municipality of Sawata headed by Hon. Mayor Silvano Gaje sa pagpapagamit ng heavy equipment para sa ground leveling ng ating school ground. Dahil sa mga heavy equipment niyo, naging mas mabilis at mas ligtas ang pagpapantay ng lupa para sa mga bata. 💪

Taos-pusong pasasalamat din sa Brgy. Council of Sabangan headed by Brgy. Capt. Merlyn Retiza at mga konsehal sa pag-provide ng crude oil/diesel para sa heavy equipment. Walang hinto ang operasyon dahil sa suporta niyo! ⛽

Dahil sa bayanihan niyo, mas safe na ang takbuhan at laro ng ating learners. Tunay na “Bayanihan para sa Matatag na Paaralan!” 🇵🇭

Parent Orientation on DepEd Order No. 15, s. 2026 and DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2026

Last June 11, 2026, Sabangan Elementary School successfully conducted a Parent Orientation attended by parents, guardians, teachers, and school personnel. The activity aimed to orient stakeholders on the provisions of DepEd Order No. 15, s. 2026, which provides the revised guidelines on classroom assessment, grading system, and awards and recognition, and DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2026, which outlines the implementation of the Three-Term School Calendar for Basic Education. During the orientation, school officials discussed the significant changes in the assessment and grading system, emphasizing the importance of learner-centered assessment, continuous feedback, and the holistic development of every learner. Parents were also informed about the new guidelines on learner recognition and academic awards under the revised policy. Likewise, the orientation provided an overview of the Three-Term School Calendar, including the schedule of classes, assessment periods, wellness breaks, and other important school activities. Parents were encouraged to support their children's learning journey by understanding the new academic calendar and collaborating closely with teachers throughout the school year. The activity concluded with an open forum where parents were given the opportunity to raise questions and seek clarifications regarding the implementation of the new DepEd policies. The successful conduct of the orientation strengthened the partnership between the school and the community, ensuring that all stakeholders are well-informed and prepared for the effective implementation of educational reforms for School Year 2026–2027

Ready Today, Safe Tomorrow: SES Joins the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill - NSED

Sabangan Elementary School actively participated in the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill as part of its commitment to promoting disaster preparedness and ensuring the safety of learners and school personnel.

The activity was facilitated by the School Head,Ma’am Nimfa G. Alfar together with her DRMM team and teaching staff, who guided students and teachers in practicing proper earthquake response procedures and strengthening awareness of emergency preparedness.

These programs are designed to help learners boost their academic skills, gain confidence, and get ready for the next school year with excitement and enthusiasm through the guidance of dedicated teacher-volunteers and tutors committed to helping every learner succeed.

Classes run from May 6 to June 2, 2026, with face-to-face sessions from Monday to Thursday.
