𝙼𝙻𝚀𝙽𝙷𝚂 𝙵𝚊𝚌𝚞𝚕𝚝𝚢 𝙰𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚗𝚍 𝙼𝚒𝚍-𝚈𝚎𝚛 𝙸𝙽𝚂𝙴𝚃 𝟸𝟶𝟸𝟼; 𝙶𝚞𝚕𝚊𝚢𝚗 𝚜𝚊 𝙿𝚊𝚊𝚛𝚊𝚕𝚊𝚗 𝚆𝚒𝚗𝚜 𝙵𝚒𝚛𝚜𝚝 𝙿𝚕𝚊𝚌𝚎

The San Isidro District Mid-Year In-Service Training (INSET) was successfully conducted as a two-day training at San Isidro National High School, attended by 218 educators from the district. The activity aimed to enhance teachers' knowledge, skills, and strategies in improving the teaching and learning process.

The training was spearheaded by 𝙳𝚛.𝚁𝚘𝚕𝚢𝚗𝚍𝚊 𝙸. 𝙲𝚛𝚞𝚣, School Principal I of Manuel L. Quezon National High School (MLQNHS), whose leadership contributed to the successful implementation of the activity.

A highlight of the event was the surprise awarding for the Best Gulayan sa Paaralan, where MLQNHS proudly bagged First Place. The achievement was spearheaded by the school's Gulayan sa Paaralan Coordinator, Sir 𝙻𝚎𝚘𝚗𝚊𝚛𝚍 𝙰𝚕𝚘𝚝𝚊 T-III, with the support of the school administration, personnel, and stakeholders.

The activity strengthened professional collaboration among educators while celebrating MLQNHS's commitment to excellence, sustainability, and holistic school development.

The Research Proposal Presentation of the Grade 12 student-researchers was successfully conducted, showcasing their preparedness, dedication, and growing competence in research on the 8th day of September 2026. The activity was made meaningful through the valuable guidance and constructive feedback of the external panelist, Sir Kenneth John C. Babaran, LPT, RM, RMT, MSPH, a part-time instructor of ULS Santiago City and the National University of the Philippines.

The activity was further supported by Ma’am Hannae Alyza P. Domingo, LPT, SHS Focal Person, and Sir Joryan B. Ibarra, LPT, MA English, Research Adviser, who provided continuous assistance and guidance to the student-researchers. Their collaborative efforts contributed significantly to the successful presentation and improvement of the students’ research proposals.

MLQNHS Young Journalists Join DSPC 2026

ROXAS, ISABELA — September 2, 2026— Six student-journalists and three coaches from Manuel L. Quezon National High School (MLQNHS) are participating in the District Schools Press Conference (DSPC) 2026 held in Roxas, Isabela, from September 2 to 4.

Representing MLQNHS are Channel Madison O. Bartolome( News Writing–English), Angela O. Lugod and Jhon Brixel Cawile( Editorial Cartooning), Jherleen Coma( Sports Writing–Filipino), Mark Somaylo (Column Writing–Filipino), and Prince Medina (Column Writing–English).

They are accompanied by coaches Joryan B. Ibarra, Jen Rapanut, and Melanie P. Arana.

The three-day DSPC aims to enhance the skills, creativity, and confidence of young journalists while promoting responsible and ethical campus journalism.

LD6 Pammadayaw Search for Most Outstanding Secondary Teacher Held; Salazar Secures 1st Runner-

Ma’am Myr Ann S. Salazar of Manuel L. Quezon National High School (MLQNHS) secured 1st Runner-Up in the LD6 Pammadayaw Search for Most Outstanding Secondary Teacher, bringing pride to the school and the San Isidro District , August 27, 2026 at Echague National High School.

Secondary teachers from the Echague, San Isidro, and San Guillermo Districts competed in the search, showcasing their dedication, competence, and commitment to excellence in education.

Salazar’s recognition highlights her passion for teaching and meaningful contributions to learners and the school community. Her achievement serves as an inspiration to fellow educators and learners.

MLQNHS Shines at Festival of Talents 2026

SAN ISIDRO, ISABELA — August 19, 2026 — Manuel L. Quezon National High School (MLQNHS) once again showcased its exceptional talents during the Festival of Talents(FOT)held at San Isidro National High School.

Ms. Madison Bartolome, Grade 12, and Ms. Crystal Corpuz, Grade 10, showcased their communication skills in advocacy and bagged the CHAMPIONSHIP in 𝙰𝙳𝚅𝙾𝙲𝙰𝙲𝚈 𝙿𝙸𝚃𝙲𝙷 and were selected to represent the San Isidro District in the LD6 Festival of Talents, under the guidance of their coach, Sir Joryan B. Ibarra.

Meanwhile, Mr. Prince Medina, Grade 10, secured 2ND PLACE in 𝙷𝙸𝚂𝚃𝙾𝙿𝙾𝙿𝚀𝚄𝙸𝚉, which proves his intelligence and wit coached by Ma’am Gigi May G. Calimag.

In 𝙲𝙸𝙽𝙴𝙼𝚄𝙽𝚃𝙸, senior high school students Mr. Gian Carlo Medina, Ms. Daphnie Rigos, Ms. Zyrene Zomera, and Ms. Angela Lugod, together with junior high school students Ms. Christine Uao and Ms. Misha Remigio, earned 3RD PLACE which they showed their acting and editing skills in film making and poster movie making coached by Mrs. Myr Ann S. Salazar and Ma’am Mary Grace P. Cedron.

Adding to the school’s achievements, senior high school students Jemar Victorio, Dave Ramos, and Jen Tagalicud won 2ND PLACe in 𝙻𝙸𝙺𝙷𝙰𝚆𝙸𝚃𝙰𝙽 coached by Sir Jayson G. Racca.

The students’ remarkable achievements were made possible through the strong support of the faculty and staff of the school, spearheaded by Dr. Rolynda I. Cruz, Principal I, and the unwavering encouragement of their parents.

Once again, MLQNHS proves that talent, dedication, and teamwork pave the way to excellence.

With determination, discipline, and pride, MLQNHS athletes and coaches proudly joined San Isidro in the Municipal Sports Meet, where three secondary schools competed in various sports on August 14, 2026.

Beyond medals and victories, they showcase teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship in every game. Guided by dedicated coaches, our athletes face every challenge with courage and heart.

Meanwhile, four (4)student-athletes, namely Lord Gian B. Gonzales and Jillian Rose F. Da Jose, are both Badminton Mixed Doubles LD6 Qualifiers. On the other hand, Mary Joy Granadozo and Kyle Cabero are also an LD6 Basketball Girls and Boys LD6 Qualifier.

Additionally, the MLQNHS faculty and staff, headed by Dr. Rolynda I. Cruz, EdD, extend their sincere appreciation to the Barangay Officials of Quezon, San Isidro, Isabela, headed by Hon. Brgy. Captain Myrna D. Sario, and the parents of the student-athletes for their moral support during the said sports activity.
