Warmest congratulations to the students of BSHM 2C as Event Organizers and BSHM 2B as Actors for the successful conduct of their Mock 18th Birthday Celebration as part of their culminating activity in HPC 4 – Introduction to MICE Management.

The event became a beautiful showcase of the students’ talent, coordination, creativity, and dedication in the field of Hospitality and Event Management. From conceptualization to ex*****on, the students displayed professionalism, teamwork, and passion in creating a celebration that truly captured the essence of a memorable debut event.

This activity, completed in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Final Term of Academic Year 2025–2026, highlighted not only the students’ technical skills in MICE Management but also their ability to work collaboratively under pressure while delivering quality event experiences.

The College of Hospitality Management is currently conducting the Day 1 sessions of the Food and Beverage Service Workshop in partnership with Evolve University, headed by Sir Bernie Mauro.

Students are actively engaging in discussions and hands-on activities focused on hospitality service excellence, customer relations, food safety, menu navigation, order taking, table setup, and wine service.

This training provides our future hospitality professionals with valuable industry-based knowledge and practical skills essential in the food and beverage sector.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, a vital academic undertaking dedicated to the careful evaluation and validation of the academic standing of prospective graduates.

The deliberation focused on the 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝘀, 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 that may affect students’ eligibility for graduation.

Through collaborative discussion and thorough review, the committee ensured that all decisions were made with 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆, 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗱𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀.

This significant process reflects the institution’s unwavering commitment to 𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, while recognizing the hard work, perseverance, and achievements of deserving students. The deliberation also serves as an important step in ensuring that every graduate is fully prepared to uphold the values, competence, and professionalism expected in their respective disciplines and future careers.

From Concept to Celebration, our Section 2B and 2A from 2nd Year College of Hospitality Management students successfully conducted a Special Event through a Mock Christening as part of their partial fulfillment for Midterm requirements in HPC 4 – Introduction to MICE and HPC 3 – Fundamentals in Food Service Operations for the 2nd Semester, AY 2025–2026 at General de Jesus College last April 11, 2026.💚

This meaningful activity showcased the students’ skills in careful planning, budgeting and costing, teamwork, organization, quality service delivery, and seamless event ex*****on which are essential competencies in the hospitality and events industry.

More than an academic requirement, it became a hands-on experience where classroom theories were transformed into real-world practice, preparing future professionals to create memorable events with excellence and heart.
