ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 20

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 131, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 20, 2026:

📍 National Capital Region (NCR)
📍 Abra
📍 Benguet
📍 Ilocos Norte
📍 Ilocos Sur
📍 La Union
📍 Pangasinan
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Nueva Ecija
📍 Pampanga
📍 Tarlac
📍 Zambales
📍 Batangas
📍 Cavite
📍 Laguna
📍 Rizal
📍 Occidental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

ALINSUNOD SA MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR BLG. 129, ANG BAYAN NG SAN ILDEFONSO AY IPATUTUPAD ANG MGA SUMUSUNOD, BUKAS, AGOSTO 19, 2026:

📌 Ipinatutupad ang Alternative Work Arrangement (AWA). Ito ay ipinauubaya sa mga pinuno ng kani-kanilang tanggapan, batay sa nature of work, pangangailangan ng serbisyo, at tungkuling ginagampanan ng mga kawani.

Maliban sa mga tanggapan na may kinalaman sa pangunahing serbisyo, kalusugan, disaster response, at iba pang mahahalagang serbisyo.

📌 Nasa diskresyon naman ng mga namamahala ng pribadong tanggapan kung ipatutupad din ang nabanggit.

📌 Ang mga pampubliko at pribadong paaralan, sa lahat ng antas, ay magsasagawa ng alternative learning modes upang mapanatili ang pagpapatuloy ng pag-aaral. NO FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES.

Dahil ito sa inaasahang patuloy na malakas na pag-ulan dulot ng Enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat). Manatiling alerto, updated, at ligtas! 🌧️

Dahil sa umiiral na kondisyon ng panahon, WALANG FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES sa Agosto 19, 2026 (Miyerkules).

📚 Ipatutupad ang Learning Continuity Mode: HINAY upang magpatuloy ang pagkatuto ng ating mga mag-aaral sa pamamagitan ng angkop na alternative learning modalities.

Ang hakbang na ito ay alinsunod sa Office of the President Memorandum Circular No. 129, na nag-uutos ng pagpapatupad ng alternative learning modes para sa mga klase sa lahat ng antas sa pampubliko at pribadong paaralan.

📌 Manatiling ligtas, alerto, at updated sa mga opisyal na anunsyo ng paaralan. Sama-sama nating ipagpatuloy ang pagkatuto kahit may hamon ng panahon. 💙📚☔

ALINSUNOD SA MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 128:

Work from home para sa mga government offices at alternative learning modes para sa lahat ng antas ng pribado at pampublikong paaralan bukas, Agosto 18, 2026.

Hindi sakop ng WFH ang mga ahensya ng pamahalaang may kinalaman sa pag-deliver ng basic at health services, preparasyon at pagtugon sa sakuna at kalamidad.

Nasa diskresyon naman ng pamunuan ng pribadong sektor ang pagdeklara ng suspensyon sa trabaho.

Mga estudyante:
“Yehey! Walang klase!”
Mga module:
“Akala mo lang…” 😏

Dahil sa WALANG PASOK, walang face-to-face classes sa lahat ng antas (private at public). Ngunit tuloy pa rin ang pagkatuto sa pamamagitan ng modules, asynchronous, at online classes.

📌 Paalala sa lahat:
✅ Unahin ang kaligtasan.
✅ Makinig sa mga opisyal na anunsyo.
✅ Huwag kalimutang tapusin ang mga gawain kapag ligtas na.
