MBVNHS Instills Leadership and Responsibility Through School-Wide Oath-Taking Ceremony

Marcial B. Villanueva National High School formally reaffirmed its commitment to student leadership and responsible governance through a school-wide Oath-Taking Ceremony held earlier today for the newly elected and appointed student officers.

The ceremony brought together the Classroom Officers, Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) Officers, Club Officers, and leaders of various school organizations, marking a significant milestone in their journey toward purposeful and exemplary leadership.

The solemn occasion was spearheaded by the school’s distinguished principal, Mr. Benedict C. Abello, whose leadership continues to foster an environment where students are empowered to serve, lead, and inspire. In his message, the ceremony underscored that leadership is not merely a position of authority, but a profound commitment to integrity, accountability, service, and the welfare of the entire school community.

The successful conduct of the event was made possible through the dedicated efforts and steadfast guidance of the SSLG Adviser, Mrs. Rosalie Garcia, whose support played an instrumental role in bringing together the various student leaders and organizations.

More than a ceremonial tradition, the oath-taking served as a solemn covenant between the student leaders and the community they have vowed to serve. It reminded every officer that true leadership is measured not by the title one carries, but by the character one demonstrates, the responsibilities one embraces, and the positive difference one creates.

As the newly sworn officers embark on their respective responsibilities, MBVNHS looks forward to a new generation of student leaders who will lead with conviction, serve with compassion, and uphold excellence with unwavering dedication.

From the classroom to the wider school community, the newly inducted leaders now carry not only a title, but a responsibility—to lead, to serve, and to make a difference.
