It is a great honor to be part of Andres Castillejo Elementary School, a legacy built upon the generosity of its donor, Andres Ortega Castillejo. His greatest contribution to San Francisco, Quezon was his selfless donation of land for the school site, ensuring that generations of children would have access to education. As Treasurer of Bondo, Tayabas and founder of the Dakilang Mithi Association, he also championed the independence of San Francisco, leaving behind a legacy of service and resilience.

We likewise honor Senen Padolina Ong, founder of Pugo Community School (1955) and the first Barangay Chairman of Barangay Cawayan I, whose leadership strengthened the roots of community learning. The Pugo Community School later became Pugo Primary School, and on October 24, 2024, it was renamed Andres Castillejo Elementary School in recognition of his enduring legacy.

Their vision and devotion continue to inspire our learners, teachers, and the entire community.”
