Sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Pagbasa 2025, nagningning ang husay ng ating Grade 7 storytellers sa Malikhaing Pagkukuwento! Mula sa boses, galaw, tono, at imahinasyon—binuhay nila ang iba’t ibang tauhan, tagpuan, at aral ng kanilang sariling likhang kuwento.

Mabuhay, Grade 7 learners! Ipagpatuloy ang paglikha, pagkuwento, at pagbabasa. Dahil sa pagkuwento, mas lumalawak ang mundo ng isipan!

Bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Pagbasa 2025, ipinakita ng mga mag-aaral sa Ikawalong Baitang ang kanilang natatanging talento sa Indak Sentimyento, isang interpretative dance performance batay sa kantang kanilang pinakinggan.

Layunin nitong linangin ang pag-unawa sa napakinggang impormasyon, lalo na sa simbolismo, tema, at damdamin ng awitin.

On November 13, 2025, the classroom buzzed with excitement as students dove into the joy of words during a special Spelling Activity held in celebration of Reading Month.

The activity invited students to showcase their spelling skills in a lively and interactive way. With each word correctly spelled, cheers erupted from classmates, creating an atmosphere where learning felt like play. Teachers noted how the activity went beyond rote memorization—it encouraged critical thinking, quick recall, and a genuine appreciation for the power of words.

Figure of Speech has never been this fun, as we made it extra colorful with PICAPVAN Word Bingo.

On November 14, 2025, students participated in an engaging classroom reading activity titled PICAPVAN Word Bingo, designed to strengthen vocabulary recognition in an enjoyable, interactive format. The activity was conducted as part of the month long celebration of reading.

ASNHS Officially Opens Reading Month 2025 with School-Wide DEAR Activity

Agusan del Sur National High School (ASNHS) formally launched its Reading Month 2025 on November 10, 2025, marking the beginning of a month-long celebration dedicated to promoting literacy and fostering a culture of reading within the school community.

The kick-off ceremony took place during the regular flag ceremony, where students and personnel were informed of the lineup of activities prepared for the month. The event highlighted the school’s continuous commitment to strengthening reading habits among learners from both the Junior High School (JHS) and Senior High School (SHS) levels.

At exactly 9:00 AM, the entire ASNHS community participated in the nationwide activity DEAR: Drop Everything and Read. Students, teachers, and non-teaching staff paused their tasks and devoted time to reading, symbolizing the school’s unified effort to emphasize the value of literacy.

The celebration aims to encourage every learner to appreciate reading not only as a school requirement but as an essential lifelong skill. By involving all sectors—JHS and SHS students, teaching personnel, and non-teaching staff—ASNHS underscores the importance of collective participation in improving literacy and nurturing a community that values learning.

The Reading Month will continue throughout November with more activities designed to inspire students and reinforce the message that truly, “Tulay ang Pagbasa sa Bukas na Puno ng Pag-asa (Reading is a Bridge to a Future Full of Hope)."
