On January 13, 2026, Grade 12 students of Cabonga-an National High School took a step closer to their future during a meaningful Career Guidance Session. Ms. Jhea C. Esoc and Ms. May Culango from CTU San Francisco Campus shared valuable insights about the various courses and programs offered, guided students through the CTU admission portal, and generously answered questions to help them navigate their college journey with confidence.

The session also provided clarity for students who encountered challenges or disqualifications in certain programs, helping them understand possible reasons and the steps they can take to improve their eligibility. More than just an orientation, the activity empowered students with knowledge, motivation, and renewed hope as they prepare for college life and future careers.

Cabonga-an National High School held a free anti-tetanus and measles vaccination on December 15, 2025, inside the school campus. The activity was voluntary and mostly attended by Grade 7 students. Before the vaccination, a health speaker explained the importance of vaccines, how tetanus affects the body, and who are not allowed to receive the shot to ensure everyone’s safety. The program aimed to protect students from infections that may come from wounds and common illnesses.

Through this activity, the school showed its care for students’ health and promoted awareness about the importance of prevention and safety

Cebu Governor Pamela Baricuatro has lifted the suspension of face-to-face classes in all levels across the Province and directed their immediate resumption on November 26, Wednesday, to avoid further disruption of the academic calendar.

The directive is issued through Executive Order No. 76, which the governor signed following the improvement of weather conditions in most parts of Cebu.

However, the order provides that municipal and city mayors may still suspend classes within their jurisdictions at their discretion, based on localized conditions and in coordination with their respective Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils. | 𝑪𝑨𝑷𝑰𝑻𝑶𝑳 𝑷𝑰𝑶
