YES-O in Action: Para sa Kalikasan, Para sa Kinabukasan!
On February 28, 2026, the YES-O officers and members proudly participated in the Coastal Clean-Up Drive organized by the Barangay Government of Barangay Lingsat. With united hands and willing hearts, we stepped onto the shore not just to clean, but to protect, preserve, and stand for our environment.
This activity reminded us that small actions, when done together, create powerful change. Every piece of trash we picked up symbolized our commitment to a cleaner coastline and a healthier community.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Barangay Government of Barangay Lingsat and to Hon. Adrian G. Caasi for organizing this meaningful activity and for giving us the opportunity to take part in this important cause.
Our sincere thanks as well to our ever-supportive School Principal, Dr. Melinda S. Verzosa, for allowing and encouraging us to participate, and for continuously guiding us in becoming responsible and environmentally aware students.
To everyone who joined and supported this initiative, thank you for proving that the youth are not just the leaders of tomorrow, but the changemakers of today.
Because when we care for the Earth, we care for our future.

A clean school for a better future! ๐
February 12, 2026, the YES-O afficers didnโt just pick up trash โ we picked up responsibility. โป๏ธ
With the help and guidance of our principal IV Dr.Melinda Versoza, our clean up drive went into success. We made sure that the campus was tidy and clean for the students to use.
Our Clean-Up Drive was more than an activity; it was a reminder that small actions, when done together, create big change. Every piece of plastic collected, every bottle removed, and every sweep of the broom represented our commitment to protecting the environment we call home.Itโs easy to ignore the little things we throw away, but today we saw how those โlittle thingsโ add up. The streets looked cleaner, the surroundings felt fresher.
Let this be a reminder that we donโt need grand gestures to make a difference. Even the smallest effort matters. Together, we can build a cleaner, greener, and better community for everyone. ๐๐

The school year is already in 4th quarter, it is again about to end, and we need new members who are willing to be a part of the Yes-O. We need someone who is eager to take care of our environment, someone who wants to be the change that the nature needed, someone who wants to continue loving the nature as the current officers do. So, if you are willing to be a part of this nature-lover organization next school year, just message our page or our President, Mikhella Pestelos. You may ask for more details about the organization and be part of it.

Today, the committed Yes-O officers successfully posted Environmental Awareness Slogans throughout the campus to promote cleanliness, discipline, and environmental responsibility within the school community. The activity was made even more meaningful by the presence and encouragement of our SDS, Dr. Sheila Marie Primicias, and our supportive Principal IV, Dr. Melinda S. Verzosa, whose guidance inspired our youth leaders to take action.
This initiative carries a meaningful message: Leave a trace where they become enlightened. Let these posters be a trace Yes-O left behind to inspire and spread knowledge.

The Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YESโO) shows that even small actions make a big difference. By picking up pieces of plastic and other trash around the school, we help keep our surroundings clean and safe. This simple act of care teaches us discipline, responsibility, and love for our environment.
We also extend our heartfelt thanks to our Principal IV, Mrs. Melinda Verzosa, for her support and guidance in making this activity possible. Together, we build a cleaner school today for a greener tomorrow.

Our organization isn't just about cleaning or picking up trash. It showcases our ๐๐๐๐
๐๐๐๐๐๐ and ๐๐๐๐๐ as we come together to set an example for the students around campus. Our dedication and love for the environment demonstrate our principles as officers, and our goal is to encourage everyone to become aware and participate in this initiative.
