POPCOM invites interested high school students from public and private schools, grades 9-11 to join the FREE Film Orientation Workshop on August 22-24, 2017 here in La Union.

We will accommodate 1 school representative per division to join us and we hope to get your reps until Aug. 10, 2017 (this is to complete the list of participants).

** Please note that this is a pre-requisite to the Film Contest that will be conducted within the year.😉

ATTENTION Education Program Supervisors:

We have sent an invitation letter to the DepEd Regional Office regarding our POST ASSESSMENT for the Population and Development Modules Integration tentatively set on December 18, 2015. This is highly important as we shall be discussing our accomplishments, Regional Festival of Talents, Evaluation tool and other matters. Venue shall be coordinated once finalized. Please save the date. See you soon!

To our respected participants during the POPDEVED Modules Integration Expanded roll-out held on October 5-9,2015 @ Cozy Place Hotel, Rosales, Pangasinan, we have given the signed certificates, copies of the communication letter and attendance to the Pang II Division. We have requested Atty. Donato Balderas to refer the certificates to Dr. Lloyd Rosquita so you can claim them anytime. Thank you!

This is in connection to the National Adolescent Health and Youth Development (AHYD) Film Festival. Commission on Population enjoins you in this event by inviting public and private third and/or fourth year high school students to submit SCRIPT entries and qualify for the film festival.

The short film should have a running time of 20 minutes and shall revolve around the theme, “Ang pag- aaral ay para sa hinaharap, huwag ipagpalit sa sandaling sarap”. Each participating team must be composed of 4 members, and participating schools shall form a network in promoting Adolescent Health and Youth Development.

Kindly disseminate this information to all interested youth within your respective locality and encourage them to submit script entries to the Commission on Population 1 Office thru: [email protected] with the subject: 2015 AHYD FILM FESTIVAL. POPCOM 1 will be providing technical and/or financial assistance in producing and developing the winning script into a short film for the national competition. Deadline of submission of script entries is on August 27, 2015.
