EKGS Google Workspace & Google Classroom
EKGS is shifting to Google Workspace for asynchronous learning.
What is Google Classroom?
It is an online platform where teachers post lessons and assignments, and students receive, complete, and turn in their schoolwork.

Account details (usernames and temporary passwords) will be sent via SMS by the end of the day, followed shortly by class codes.
Note: Usernames are formatted as surname.firstinitial(s).ph.education (e.g., [email protected]).
If you do not receive your details by today, please message our official EKGS page.

-Password Setup: Log in promptly to change the default password. Create a strong password (at least 8 characters with letters and numbers) and keep it in a safe place.

EKGS Google Account Rules for Parents & Students
To keep our digital classroom safe and secure, please review these essential guidelines for using your childโs ".ph.education" account:
1. School Use Only: This account is strictly for schoolwork and classes. Do not use it for personal games, social media, or personal websites.
2. Respect & Good Behavior: Students must be polite in emails, Google Meet, and Google Classroom. Bullying or disrupting work will result in disciplinary action, parent meetings, or temporary account restrictions.
3. Password Security: Passwords must be at least 8 characters long (mixing letters and numbers) and kept private. Only parents and the student should know the password.
4. Account Monitoring: School administrators monitor all activity inside the EKGS Google account for safety. EKGS cannot monitor your personal devices or personal internet use.
5. No Personal Files: Do not store family photos, personal documents, or sensitive information on the school drive. The school is not responsible for personal files.
6. Approved Apps Only: Students may only use websites and apps assigned by teachers. Unapproved downloads and site logins are blocked automatically.
7. Reporting Problems: If you notice account issues, strange emails, or inappropriate content, report it immediately to "[email protected]" or message the official EKGS page.
