๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐! ๐ถ
Our hearts are still full from Taking the stage at the Fr. Burgos Gymnasium to celebrate Saint Louis Collegeโs 62nd Founding Anniversary was a profound honor, allowing us to breathe life into the beautiful stories of the Filipino soul.
We proudly share the applause with our talented brother and sister choirs, the ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ต๐ถ๐บ ๐๐ต๐ผ๐ถ๐ฟ and the ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ฏ๐ถ๐บ ๐๐ต๐ผ๐ถ๐ฟ. Under the masterful guidance of our Artistic Musical Director, Ms. Marinol Y. Padilla, it was a profound privilege to fill the air with heartfelt harmonies together.
Our musical journey followed the true heartbeat of OPM. We kicked off with the resilient energy of ๐๐ฆ๐ณ๐ฐ๐ฏ-๐๐ฆ๐ณ๐ฐ๐ฏ ๐๐ช๐ฏ๐ต๐ข and the Visayan charm of ๐๐ฐ๐ด๐ข๐ด ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ข๐ฏ, followed by the Cherubim Choir's rhythmic ๐๐ช๐ฏ๐ช๐ฌ๐ญ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ and the nostalgic joy of ๐๐ข๐ณ๐ฐ๐ฏ๐จ ๐๐ช๐ฏ๐ฐ๐บ. The vibe then shifted to the playful modern hits of ๐ ๐๐ฐ๐ท๐ฆ ๐ ๐ฐ๐ถ ๐๐ฐ๐บ and ๐๐ข๐ฑ๐ข ๐๐ข ๐๐ข, before slowing down for the soulful yearning of ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ข ๐๐ฌ๐ข๐ธ ๐๐ข ๐๐ข๐บ ๐๐ช๐ฏ๐ต๐ข๐ฏ๐ข. Finally, all our voices united for an explosive, pride-filled finale of

The Saint Louis College Chorale, alongside the Samtoy Dance Troupe, had the wonderful opportunity to showcase the beauty of Louisian talent during the third day of the Philippine Association of Collegiate Schools of Business (PACSB) Research Bootcamp on Waves of Wisdom (W2): Riding the Tide of Sustainability and AI Research held today, March 13, 2026, at Cafรฉ Luis.
The Chorale opened the program with a prayerful rendition of Fr. Manuel Franciscoโs "Panalangin sa Pagiging Bukas-Palad." Moving from prayer to a vibrant celebration of our roots, the ensemble then serenaded the PACSB delegates with a soulful medley of well-loved Ilokano folksongs, proudly honoring our local heritage through song.
We express our sincere appreciation to Dr. Caroline G. Pajimola, Dean of SLC - College of Business and Accountancy, for the kind invitation and for her unwavering support of the arts. It was a privilege to be part of such a prestigious gathering of academic minds!

The Saint Louis College Center for Culture, the Arts, and Heritage joined the celebration of the 176th Founding Anniversary of La Union by presenting a captivating cultural performance on March 2, 2026, at the Speaker Pro Tempore Francisco I. Ortega Convention Center in Sevilla, City of San Fernando, La Union. The presentation featured the talents of the SLC Samtoy Dance Troupe, SLC Chorale, and the SLC Louisian Theatre Ensemble, who depicted the regionโs cultural heritage through music, dance, and theatrical expression.
Beautifully showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Ilocos Region, Pangasinan, and Benguet, the performance vividly told the story of the history, traditions, and cultural influences that contributed to the formation of the beloved province of La Union.
The production was choreographed and directed by Mr. Rufo Maltu Jr., Artistic Director of the SLC Samtoy Dance Troupe.
Through every movement, melody, and expression, the performers embodied the spirit of Agkaysaโa powerful symbol of unity that connects the history, culture, and people who continue to shape the identity of La Union.

The Saint Louis College Chorale was deeply honored to weave a beautiful tapestry of music during the grand celebration of our 62nd Founding Anniversary and the highly anticipated Palarong Luwisyano held last March 4, 2026 at the Fr. Burgos Gymnasium.
The day started with a Thanksgiving Mass, where the Chorale led the liturgical music and concluded with "My Tribute." During the Cultural Show, we celebrated our Ilokano heritage by performing traditional songs like "Duayya Ni Ayat," "Manang Biday," and "Ti Ayat Ti Maysa Nga Ubing".
To open the Palarong Luwisyano, the Chorale led the doxology with "Panalangin sa Pagiging Bukas-palad" arranged by Manuel Francisco, followed by the Philippine National Anthem.
To more years of success and harmony.

The Saint Louis College Chorale was delighted to perform during the Welcome and Orientation Program for the SEA Teacher Project interns from Universitas Nusa Cendana (UNDANA), Indonesia, held last March 3, 2026.
To showcase the vibrant heart of Filipino culture, the Chorale performed two well-loved folksongs: the energetic "Rosas Pandan," arranged by Earl James Conde, and the playful "Sitsiritsit," arranged by Gerard Dela Peรฑa. Through these rhythmic and spirited melodies, we aimed to share our heritage and provide a warm, musical welcome to our international guests.
We extend our gratitude to the Global Affairs Office - Saint Louis College of San Fernando, La Union for the invitation to join this meaningful cultural exchange.
