Distinguished Alumna Awardee – 2011
With profound gratitude and admiration, we pay tribute to Sr. Josefina F. Nebres, ICM, a faithful servant-leader whose life has been deeply rooted in the mission of the ICM Congregation and Catholic education. Through decades of dedicated service, she has become a source of inspiration to the CKC community, embodying humility, wisdom, compassion, and unwavering commitment to forming lives grounded in faith and excellence.
As a devoted alumna, educator, and institutional leader, Sr. Jo’s journey reflects the enduring bond between Christ the King College and those who continue to carry its mission forward. Her words during her recognition as Distinguished Alumnae Awardee in 2011 remain a meaningful testament of gratitude, vocation, and love for her alma mater.
We share an excerpt from her heartfelt message:
“I, for one, thank you, dear Sisters and the Officers and Members of the Alumni-Alumnae Association for the distinguished alumna award you have given me. I accept this with much humility on behalf of my parents and family, my teachers/mentors, my classmates who have all contributed to what I am now.
I consider it a great honor to receive this award from you and my Alma Mater. It is more precious to me than all the other awards I have received. I feel so, because this comes from the institution that has nurtured me in the significant years of my life and has been partly the seat of my vocation. It has strengthened this feeling that my Alma Mater has claimed me as her very own. This assurance deepens my sense of identity.
Thank you, dear Sisters and the Alumnae Officers and Members, for your distinctive leadership and generosity in holding these celebrations that give a living mark to our school, Christ the King College; a celebration that renews our bond with one another.
May the Lord bless you with that wisdom, joy and fulfillment that He alone can give.”
Sr. Jo, you will forever be remembered with gratitude, admiration, and love.

As CKC wraps up this school year, we look back with gratitude to Mother Marie Louise De Meester, our ICM Mother Foundress, whose charisms guided us in every step. Every accomplishment was done with dedication; each moment was shaped with purpose, rooted in our love for God and deep apostolic zeal.
In this same spirit, the bust of Mother Marie Louise De Meester, enshrined in reverence at the CKC High School lobby as the Student Body Association’s project for SY 2025-2026, stands as a lasting tribute, anchoring our identity and reminding us of the mission we carry forward into the next school year and beyond.

CKC Celebrates Students’ Achievements and Milestones
Christ the King College–Grade School marked a significant milestone through a solemn Mass and Graduation Rites at the CKC High School Department last April 14,2026. The ceremony celebrated the culmination of the Grade 6 learners’ academic journey and honored outstanding undergraduates from Grades 1 to 5 for their exemplary performance.

A kite does not fly on its own; it rises because of steady hands, guiding strings, and the courage to catch the wind.
Today, at Christ the King College Graduation, we celebrate more than achievements. We honor years of holistic growth, faith, and perseverance that have prepared our graduates to soar high.
Like a kite lifted by the wind, may you rise with purpose, grounded in the values of our ICM Foundress, Mother Marie Louise De Meester - love for the poor and a heart for mission.
As you fly higher into new beginnings, remember those who held the string- your parents, guardians, and the entire CKC community- whose love and guidance kept you steady.
Go forth and soar, not just high, but with meaning, faith, and service.
Congratulations, Graduates of Batch 2025-2026!

From milestones to new beginnings, we celebrate the journey of holistic, evangelizing, and transformative education.
At Christ the King College, Moving Up and Recognition Day are more than ceremonies; they are reflections of every student’s perseverance, every sacrifice made, and every dream carried with faith.
We also honor the parents and guardians, teachers, school personnel, and the entire CKC community whose support, guidance, and dedication made these achievements possible.
Guided by the charisms of Mother Marie Louise De Meester, our ICM Foundress, love for the poor and deep sense of mission, we are reminded that true success is not only measured by achievements, but by lives lived in service and compassion.
As we step forward to the next chapter, may we continue to walk in wisdom, lead with humility, and serve with hearts anchored in Christ the King.
Congratulations, completers and awardees!

Not all journeys announce themselves with applause. Some unfold quietly—written in early mornings, in silent perseverance, and in the unseen sacrifices made when no one is watching. Within the four corners of the classroom, progress did not come in grand, defining moments, but through consistency, discipline, and the quiet courage to keep moving forward despite uncertainty.
Now, as Grade 10 Completers of School Year 2025–2026 move forward, they carry more than just achievements—they carry stories shaped by perseverance, hearts strengthened by faith, and dreams that continue to reach beyond what they once imagined. Each step forward reflects how far they have come and the quiet strength built along the way.
With grateful hearts and unwavering determination, they step into the next chapter, ready to explore new paths, to lead with purpose, and to make a difference in every space they enter. Wherever the road leads, may you, completers, remain grounded in their values and guided by a purpose greater than themselves. Padayon, Grade 10 Batch 2025–2026!

With hearts full of pride and joy, we extend our warmest congratulations to the outstanding undergraduates of Grades 7 to 11 for their remarkable achievements in this academic year. Through curiosity, determination, and a deepening love for learning, they have shown that excellence is shaped by purpose.
From strengthening core competencies to expressing creativity and sharpening critical thought, their dedication reflects not only their personal pursuit of excellence but also the steadfast support of teachers and families who continue to guide them every step of the way.
As we celebrate these promising minds, may this recognition inspire them to dream bigger, aim higher, and press forward with courage in the years ahead as they soar high and become bearers of hope and servants of love.

❝𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐨𝐚𝐫 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡, 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬!❞
After facing the arduous treks, the time has come where the graduates have hurdled the mountainous terrains with resilience and purpose. But as the song “Saranggola" reminds us, "Sa pagkagat ng realidad ng buhay, landas natin sadya’y magkakahiwalay," this milestone may seem like the end, but is rather a turn toward a new trail and unfamiliar path they have yet to navigate.
Every friendship built, performance task completed, and assessment accomplished, are the footprints on the trail, which will forever remain as a mark of their collective efforts and a testament of the moments where they refused to stop going on.
As they leave the gates that once felt like their entire universe, they carry more than medals, awards, and recognition. They carry memories, quiet successes, and instances when they nearly gave up but decided to stay. During those struggles, they discovered strength within themselves and compassion for one another, learning that success is judged not only by how far they progress, but also by how deeply they mature.
The laughter enjoyed along the halls and the tears wept in times of darkness will serve as subtle reminders of who they were and are becoming. Wherever the next path may take them, may they go with faith, humility, and unflinching hope, carrying the light ignited here into the larger world.
As this school year ends, let us take this opportunity to express our deepest congratulations to the graduates who along the trail, have shared a long yet meaningful walk and ignited the light of Christ in all spaces. Padayon, graduates, the journey does not end at the summit; it starts with the confidence to take the next step.
