Demonstrating technical excellence and industry readiness, 58 students from the Cebu Technological University (CTU) San Fernando Extension Campus successfully passed the National Certificate Level 2 (NC II) assessment in Electrical Installation and Maintenance.
The assessment, conducted from February 16 to 21, 2026, was under the guidance of Mr. Kenjay Bughao, Instructor at CTU-SF.
The week-long evaluation involved a diverse group of participants from various year levels of the Bachelor of Industrial Technology (BIT) majoring in Electrical Technology. Among the successful passers were one first-year student, 22 second-year students, and a significant cohort of 35 third-year students.
This certification, issued by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), is a vital credential for students. It validates their competency in installing and maintaining electrical wiring, lighting, and related equipment in residential and commercial buildingsโa key requirement for local and international employment.
The high passing rate reflects the faculty's mentorship and CTU-SFโs commitment to providing quality technical-vocational education.
By ensuring that its graduates are equipped with the "gold standard" of industry skills, the campus continues to produce highly competitive technical professionals.
