𝗖𝗧𝗨-𝗦𝗙 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗔𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝟭𝟬𝟬% 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗖 𝗜𝗜 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁
Demonstrating technical excellence and industry readiness, 58 students from the Cebu Technological University (CTU) San Fernando Extension Campus successfully passed the National Certificate Level 2 (NC II) assessment in Electrical Installation and Maintenance.
The assessment, conducted from February 16 to 21, 2026, was under the guidance of Mr. Kenjay Bughao, Instructor at CTU-SF.
The week-long evaluation involved a diverse group of participants from various year levels of the Bachelor of Industrial Technology (BIT) majoring in Electrical Technology. Among the successful passers were one first-year student, 22 second-year students, and a significant cohort of 35 third-year students.
This certification, issued by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), is a vital credential for students. It validates their competency in installing and maintaining electrical wiring, lighting, and related equipment in residential and commercial buildings—a key requirement for local and international employment.
The high passing rate reflects the faculty's mentorship and CTU-SF’s commitment to providing quality technical-vocational education.
By ensuring that its graduates are equipped with the "gold standard" of industry skills, the campus continues to produce highly competitive technical professionals.

CTU San Fernando joins the nation in observing National Hazing Prevention Week (Feb. 9–13, 2026).

This observance highlights the importance of standing against hazing in all forms — physical, emotional, or psychological. As an institution, we encourage students, organizations, and leaders to uphold dignity, foster genuine brotherhood, and practice responsible leadership.

The office of the Cebu Vice Governor, Glenn Soco, has written to inform that 20 scholarship grants for the Cebu Provincial Grants Intended for Tertiary Students (CP-GIFTS) have been allocated to our municipality.

Interested qualifying applicants shall accomplish and bring the requirements to the Office of the Mayor and look for SKF President Ashley Gayle Canoy Reville.

The following requirements must be submitted:

1. Report Card with a general weighted average of at least 85%;
2. Certificate of Good Moral Character signed by the principal and endorsed by the District Supervisor (if photocopy, it must be authenticated);
3. Barangay Certification to show proof that he/she is a resident thereof;
4. Voter's ID/Voter's Certificate duly issued by the COMELEC;
5. Income Tax Return/Tax Exemption of parents or guardian duly issued by the BIR;
6. Letter of Attestation attesting/certifying that he/she is not a beneficiary of any other scholarship program;
7. Study Load/Certificate of Enrollment with current College Course of which the student is enrolled; and
8. Student Information Form which shall be completely filled out.

IN EMPHASIS, THE LGU SAN FERNANDO WOULD ONLY BE ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE ‘20 APPLICANTS’ ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS.

SUSPENSION OF FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES

Cebu Technological University–Main Campus suspends all face-to-face classes starting today, September 25, 2025, due to Severe Tropical Storm Opong.

Classes will shift to asynchronous mode of instruction until Saturday, September 27, 2025, to ensure the safety of students.

Based on the memorandum issued by Campus Director Gregorio P. Pajaron Jr., regular classes are expected to resume on Monday, September 29, 2025, unless further advisories are issued.
