On July 31 2026, purple flaglets were raised and another chapter began as the Department of Pharmacy warmly welcomed its newest Pharmates during the ๐—ฃ๐—”๐— ๐—จ๐—ž๐—Ÿ๐—”๐—ง ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฒ at the University of the Assumption.

The day commenced with the parade walk where freshmen from the College of Nursing and Pharmacy gathered at the T.S.I.R.U. Building before making their way to the university gymnasium for the official welcoming program. The festivities continued at the Saint Thomas Aquinas Studentsโ€™ Courtyard (STASCY), where students visited the booth fairs. We were delighted to meet our newest Pharmates, along with upperclassmen and students from different departments who dropped by our booth.

The day concluded with a freshmen tour and orientation. Introducing the values, opportunities, and community that will guide them throughout their school year. As new beginnings unfold, may this day serve as a reminder that every great pharmacist once stood exactly where they are now.
