The Girl-Child Week and Women with Disabilities Celebration was held on March 13, 2026, at the SFES Multipurpose Hall. The event gathered SNED learners, parents, and teachers to celebrate empowerment, inclusion, and the strengths of girls and women with disabilities.

The program started with the National Anthem and Opening Prayer through audio-visual presentations, followed by the Opening Remarks of Principal Daisy Mamaradlo Arciaga. The roll call of participants was conducted by the SNED teachers, and the guest speaker was introduced before the Inspirational Message delivered by Jhennsen S. Gaddi, a member of the Rotary Club of the City of San Fernando, who encouraged the learners to believe in their abilities and pursue their dreams.

The celebration continued with engaging activities during the โ€œMoments ni Kikayโ€ booth stations, where learners enjoyed face painting, DIY bracelet making, hair and make-up, photobooth, and tattoo art. The event also featured Kikayโ€™s Red Carpet Runway, where learners confidently showcased their creativity and self-expression.

The program concluded with the Closing Remarks, leaving a meaningful reminder about the importance of supporting, empowering, and celebrating girls and women with disabilities. ๐ŸŒธโœจ

With the theme โ€œGinintuang Ani ng Pag-ibig Tungo sa Matagumpay at Tunay na Inklusyon,โ€ our celebration last February 20, 2026 was truly meaningful and inspiring.
Thank you to Sophia Taruc (4C Learner) for leading the Opening Prayer; to Daisy Mamaradlo Arciaga, Principal III for the Inspirational Message; and to Jocelyn Sinamban Ramin, Level 4C Adviser for the Roll Call.
We appreciate the energetic participation of our ID Level 4A Learners in the Zumba Dance, and the warm introduction by Yvonne Adriano, Level 2A Adviser.
Our heartfelt gratitude to Judge Remie Mondia of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 110, Pasay City, for sharing an insightful seminar. Thank you as well to Nina Yabut, ID Coordinator, for leading the Awarding of Certificates, and to Jap-Jap Panlilio Yutuc, Level 4B Adviser, for the Closing Remarks.
Special thanks to our Master of Ceremony, Joyce David Villar, for guiding the program smoothly.
We are deeply grateful to the individuals and organizations who supported our Intellectual Disability Awareness event. Special thanks to our distinguished speaker, Judge Mondia, and to our generous sponsors: Tere Serrano, Jing Julian, Manuel Adriano, Adriano Construction, Engr. Romulo Policarpio, and the Office of the City Mayor through PDAO. We also acknowledge Red Francer Canda for offering free haircut services, and extend heartfelt appreciation to Charlotte C. Lagman and Hazel Nikki S. Mejia for their services. Your contributions reflect the spirit of inclusion and compassion, helping us build a community that celebrates every ability.
Indeed, this celebration reminds us that inclusion is not just an advocacyโ€”it is a shared responsibility and a commitment of love.
