Please be advised that Mayor Vilma Balle-Caluag has ordered the suspension of face-to-face classes tomorrow, August 24, 2026. This covers all levels in both public and private schools.
According to the latest report by the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (CDRRMC), portions of at least 18 barangays in San Fernando are still floodedโranging from 1 ft. to 3 ft.โand there are also students who reside outside of CSFP's area of jurisdiction, including in nearby areas still affected by flooding.
Given the situation, schools, depending on their respective resources, may continue implementing online or other alternative learning modalities to ensure the continuity of student learning.
Everyone is urged to follow safety guidelines from health and disaster management agencies to avoid risks, as tomorrow's forecast includes cloudy skies, scattered rains, and thunderstorms. Keep these emergency hotlines on hand:
