We officially welcomed 25 PDL scholars to the Carpentry NC II Training under the Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP), made possible through the leadership of Mayor Ma. Cynthia "Cindi" Chan. 👷‍♂️📚

This initiative, conducted in partnership with TESDA and St. Peregrine Institute, Inc., was facilitated by Sir Brian Ada, TESDA representative, and Sir Joel Balucas, our dedicated trainer.

Special thanks to our supportive Jail Warden and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, Regional Office VII, for making this opportunity possible for our PDLs.

Together, we build skills, hope, and a better future. 💪✨

Our talented trainees under the TWSP program are hard at work, gaining hands-on experience and building their future from June 16 to July 11, 2025. Together, we’re laying the foundation for success in the world of construction!

A big step forward for 50 scholars from the Lapu-Lapu City Jail Male Dormitory as they begin their journey in the Carpentry NC II program, made possible through the Special Training for Employment Program (STEP), by Senator Pia Cayetano. 🙏

A special THANK YOU to the dedicated Jail Warden and all the correctional staff for their unwavering support and commitment to this initiative. Your partnership made this program a reality and continues to empower our PDL scholars in their journey toward rehabilitation and self-improvement. 🙏🏽
