Due to the persistent aftershocks following the 6.9 magnitude earthquake last September 30, 2025, Mayor Mytha Ann B. Canoy has issued an Executive Order declaring a temporary shift to Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) for all levels in public schools within San Fernando.

This measure ensures the safety of students and teachers, while safety inspections are conducted on school buildings, roads, and bridges.

𝐏𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐨 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 proudly hosted its 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐓𝐀 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲, bringing together parents, teachers, and school leaders in a meaningful gathering aimed at strengthening the school community.

The program began with the solemn playing of the Philippine National Anthem, followed by a heartfelt Opening Prayer led by 𝐌𝐬. 𝐋𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐓. 𝐀𝐥𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐪𝐮𝐞 , PTA Secretary. A reaffirmation of commitment to excellence was echoed through the 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐄𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭.

𝐌𝐫. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐨, Faculty President, warmly welcomed all attendees, setting the tone for a productive meeting. 𝐌𝐬. 𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐚 𝐀. 𝐂𝐮𝐞𝐯𝐚, SHS Guidance Designate, acknowledged the presence of participants, recognizing the vital role each one plays in the success of the school.

A special moment in the program was the introduction of 𝐃𝐫. 𝐍𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞 𝐃. 𝐘𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲, the newly installed School Head of Pitalo NHS. Dr. Ymalay expressed her gratitude and excitement in joining the school community, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between teachers and parents. She emphasized that a strong partnership between home and school is crucial in fostering students’ growth, enhancing academic performance, and cultivating a supportive learning environment.

In support of the school’s learners, 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙮 𝙋𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙤 𝙎𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙜𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙆𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙖𝙣 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙨 joined the event, led by 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐋𝐲𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐳𝐚𝐫, 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, together with her co-councilors 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐍𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐀𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐒. 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐬 and 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐆𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐳. They distributed school uniforms to selected Grade 7 up to Grade 11 students as part of their 𝙎𝙆 𝙁𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢, a meaningful initiative that helps ease the financial burden on families and promotes unity and pride among students.

To conclude, participants were guided to their respective Break Rooms for the 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐏𝐓𝐀 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, where more focused discussions took place.

The entire program was gracefully hosted by 𝐌𝐫𝐬. 𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐚 𝐀. 𝐂𝐮𝐞𝐯𝐚, our Lady of Ceremony.
