Taking care of your mental health during disasters and calamities is just as important as protecting your physical well-being. These events can cause fear, anxiety, sadness, and stress, which may affect how people think and make decisions. By taking care of your mental health, you can stay calm, think clearly, and respond better to difficult situations. It also helps build emotional strength and resilience, allowing you to recover faster and support others who are struggling. Prioritizing mental well-being prevents long-term effects such as depression, trauma, or post-disaster stress. When people care for their mental health, they not only protect themselves but also contribute to a stronger, more supportive community during times of crisis.

Despite of the calamity that we've been through, most specially on the northern part of Cebu that disrupts our normal teaching and working setup. The CTU ROTC Students were still able to gain some awareness about the "Ill-Effects on Drugs" via zoom meeting.

Drug addiction in our society is one of the most pressing public health and social issues today. It affects not only the individual using drugs but also their families, communities, and the nation as a whole. It is very important to our students to learn drug addiction awareness because they are among the most vulnerable groups to peer pressure, curiosity, and risky behaviors. Teaching them early can prevent future problems.

Special thanks to the Cadets and ROTC Officers headed by Ms. Ailyn Dasig.

The increasing cases of HIV in the community may lead to more health problems, faster spread of the virus, and a heavier burden on families and the healthcare system. It can also cause stigma and discrimination, which affect the mental and social well-being of people living with HIV. This shows the importance of awareness, testing, and prevention to protect everyone in the community.

Donating blood provides donors with a mini health screening, including checks of vital signs and blood tests for diseases. It can also reduce the risk of heart disease by lowering iron levels and blood viscosity, thus reducing the chance of clots and blockages. Additionally, regular donation is linked to a lower risk of certain cancers and improved circulation as the body produces new blood cells to replace the donated amount.
