ANIMAL PRODUCTION (RUMINANTS) NC II

The ANIMAL PRODUCTION (RUMINANTS) NC II Qualification consists of
competencies that a person must achieve to raise ruminants for production of milk,
meat and breeder. It comprises of maintenance of housing, farm implements and
surrounding area, providing forage, performing breeding of ruminants, raising of
dairy animals and raising of meat-type animals. The ruminants include both the large
(cattle and buffalo) and small (goat and sheep) ruminants.

A person who has achieved this Qualification is competent to be:

-Livestock Raiser/Farmer
-Cattle Farm Worker (Specialist)
-Goat raiser/farmer
-Dairy Raiser/Farmer

RICE MACHINERY OPERATIONS NC II
This qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve in the operation and basic routine maintenance of rice
machinery for land preparation, crop establishment, crop care, harvesting and threshing, drying and milling.

A person who has achieved this Qualification is competent to be:
a. Rice Land Preparation Machinery Operator
(Hand Tractor, 4-Wheel Tractor)
b. Rice Crop Establishment Machinery Operator
(Manual Seeder, Motorized Seeder, Rice Transplanter)
c. Rice Crop Care Machinery Operator
(Irrigation Pump, Cultivator,
Sprayer, Fertilizer Applicator)
d. Rice Harvesting and Threshing Machinery Operator
(Reaper, Stripper, Combine, Thresher)
