Romblon State University is now officially an 𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙈𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙀𝙭𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢 𝙄𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨, 𝙄𝙣𝙘. (𝙋𝘼𝙀𝙋𝙄) — a prestigious national organization that promotes excellence in extension, research, and community engagement across higher education institutions in the Philippines.

PAEPI is dedicated to strengthening the implementation of extension programs that address real-world problems through collaboration, innovation, and sustainable solutions — aligning closely with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This recognition affirms RSU’s ongoing commitment to transformative and inclusive development through responsive extension initiatives.

We announce the appointment of Mr. Gregorio A. Florendo, Jr. as the new Director for the Extension Services and Community Engagement Office (RSU - ESCEO). Mr. Florendo will assume his role effective immediately.

The entire REDI team is confident that his leadership will guide the university toward greater heights in community service and engagement.

We proudly announce the designation of 𝗠𝗥. 𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗢 𝗔. 𝗙𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗢 𝗝𝗥. as the full-fledged 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗘𝗦𝗖𝗘𝗢) as per Office Order No. 011-00 s. 2025 issued by Romblon State University - Office of the President.

In just four months as Acting Director, Sir Greg pushed for community engagement as a scholarly framework, forging strong alliances and pioneering innovative approaches in implementing extension and community engagement PPAs.

All program leaders of approved 2025 ESCE projects/programs gathered via Zoom to get oriented on implementation processes, systems, templates, and post-implementation requirements—ensuring a smooth and efficient ex*****on ahead.
