Another productive and meaningful day of training was successfully accomplished by the cadets of the San Fernando University (SFU) ROTC Unit as we conducted our Fourth Training Day this 23rd of August 2026.

The training day began with the cadets assembling in formation and participating in various military drills and exercises, strengthening our discipline, coordination, alertness, and ability to follow commands. Every movement, command, and correction served as a reminder that becoming a disciplined cadet requires consistency, determination, and a willingness to learn.

As part of our commitment to the safety and welfare of every cadet, the unit also facilitated the payment for the Red Cross insurance, ensuring that the necessary preparations and protection are given importance throughout our training activities.

The cadets were also given a valuable and timely lecture on Disaster Risk Management, focusing on the importance of preparedness, prevention, response, and recovery during disasters and emergencies. The session was facilitated by SFO3 Laarnie R. Rada, OIC Municipal Fire Marshal, whose knowledge and experience provided the cadets with practical insights into emergency preparedness, fire safety, disaster response, and the responsibilities of individuals and communities during critical situations.

We extend our sincere appreciation to SFO3 Laarnie R. Rada, OIC Municipal Fire Marshal, for sharing her expertise and valuable lessons with our cadets. We also acknowledge the guidance and supervision of Corporal Mateo S Juniosa III (INF) PA , whose support and leadership contributed to the successful conduct of this training day.

The Fourth Training Day was more than just drills and lectures—it was another opportunity to develop discipline, strengthen teamwork, enhance preparedness, and build the character expected of future leaders and responsible citizens.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘆

Another meaningful day of learning, growth, and resilience as we completed our Third Training Day at Romblon State University – San Fernando Campus.

It was exhausting—but every formation, every command, and every correction reminded us why we started. This journey is not just about drills; it's about building discipline, strengthening character, and preparing ourselves for whatever challenges lie ahead.

This training day also marked our first official inspection, reminding every cadet of the importance of proper appearance, discipline, preparedness, and attention to detail– qualities that every future leader must possess.

We were also honored by the presence of our Deputy Director, Col. Alejandro D. Malaran SC (GSC) PA, whose visit inspired us to push harder and stay committed to the path we have chosen.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Pat Carl Weilson S Aranas (PNP) San Fernando for being awarded a Certificate of Appreciation as Guest Instructor during the Cadet’s Education on 𝗦𝘂𝗯𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆. Your contribution has greatly enriched our knowledge and awareness as cadets.

Our Cadet Officers of the San Fernando ROTC Unit, together with our aspiring COQCs, joined forces to make the DMST Office cleaner, more organized, and more presentable.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed their time and effort to this activity. Your dedication and teamwork continue to reflect the values of discipline, responsibility, and service. Small acts of service like this continue to strengthen our ROTC family.

They say our office may be simple, but don't let its size fool you. Behind these walls are cadets who are full of discipline, commitment, and the spirit of service.

𝗦𝗨𝗕𝗦𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗢𝗪𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 (𝗦𝗔) 𝗠𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗖𝗨𝗧 & 𝗟𝗔𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗔 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗕𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

𝟬𝟵 𝗔𝗨𝗚𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗥𝗦𝗨 𝗦𝗔𝗡 𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗢 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗨𝗦

𝗢𝗻 𝟬𝟵 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the 𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗖 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝗖𝗟 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟭𝗖𝗟 participating in the CY 2026 Training Camp received their Subsistence Allowance (SA) Mess Cut and LACASA.

The 2CL ROTC Officers who participated in the ROTC Summer Camp Training (𝗥𝗦𝗖𝗧) 𝗠𝗦 𝟯 / 𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗣𝗧 𝟯𝟭–𝟯𝟮, conducted from 07 July to August 2026, received their corresponding allowance. Meanwhile, the 1CL ROTC Officers who continued their training under 𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗣𝗧 𝟰𝟭–𝟰𝟮 also received their allotted support.

The distribution was facilitated by Corporal Mateo S. Juñiosa III (INF) PA, with Ma’am Maricon R. Rafol, NSTP Coordinator of RSU San Fernando Campus, serving as a witness to ensure proper and transparent distribution.

This assistance demonstrates the continued support for our ROTC cadets from the 1705th CDC, 17th RCDG as they undergo training and fulfill their responsibilities with discipline, commitment, and dedication to service.

This morning, the Cadet Officers of RSU San Fernando Unit joined hands with the students in a Campus Clean-Up Drive, working together to promote cleanliness, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility within the school community.

More than just cleaning our surroundings, this activity served as a reminder that service begins with small acts of responsibility and becomes more meaningful when we work together. Through teamwork and cooperation, our cadet officers and students contributed to creating a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming campus for everyone.

Kudos to everyone who took part and shared their time and effort for the betterment of our school community! 🇵🇭🫡
