Please be advised on the extension of suspension of face-to-face classes until tomorrow, September 24, 2025, in the City of San Fernando for all levels in all public and private schools, as ordered by Mayor Vilma Balle-Caluag.
While in-person classes are suspended given the aftermath of the weather conditions, such as flooding in some areas, and the ongoing rains, the schools are allowed to conduct online or any alternative learning modality so as not to hamper student education.
As of this posting, the Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal and Orange Rainfall Warning have been lifted for the province of Pampanga but heavy rainfall is expected to prevail until September 24 due to Habagat, intensified by Super Typhoon Ragasa (formerly Nando).
PAGASA's 5:00 PM bulletin today, September 23, reported that Yellow Rainfall Warning has been raised over Pampanga.
All concerned requested to STAY INDOORS and follow the safety tips of health agencies to avoid any risks.

As of PAGASAโs 5:00 PM Tropical Cyclone Bulletin today, September 22, Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 remains in effect over the province of Pampanga. Additionally, an Orange Rainfall Warning (Alert for Possible Evacuation) has also been issued for the province, according to the agency's 5:00 PM Heavy Rainfall Warning report.
The aforementioned weather conditions are expected to prevail until tomorrow, September 23.

Please be informed that as of 5:50 AM today, September 01, 2025, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has ordered the suspension of classes at all levels (public and private) and government work and in the province of Pampanga and other areas in the Philippines, including the City of San Fernando.
While office-based transactions and services in the City Government of San Fernando will be suspended, the LGU services on basic health, preparedness or response to disasters and calamities, and performance of other vital functionsโincluding its Alerto Fernandino response on the forecasted heavy rainfallโshall continue.
Mayor Vilma Balle-Caluag advises every Fernandino to follow the health tips to avoid any risks amidst the ongoing weather conditions.

Please be advised that the suspension of face-to-face classes in the City of San Fernando for all levels in all public and private schools has been extended for two consecutive days: July 25 and 26, 2025 (Friday and Saturday), as ordered by City Vice Mayor/Acting City Mayor Aurelio Brenz Gonzales.
While in-person classes are suspended given the aftermath of the weather conditions, such as flooding, and the ongoing rains, the schools (both public and private) are allowed to conduct online or any alternative learning modality so as not to hamper student education on the said dates.
This includes all Saturday classes which are conducted by higher education institutions (colleges and universities).
