Ideas move fast, but powerful stories last!

Today, the leaders and representatives of the Grade 11 and Grade 12 ABM students took part in “The Creative Current” seminar conducted by the Junior Marketing Association — SLC Chapter. As we prepare for the upcoming ABM Market Fair, this opportunity allowed us to explore how creativity, strategy, and storytelling work together in building meaningful marketing ideas and memorable events.

To support this learning experience, the ABM Club sponsored the seminar tickets of the participating leaders and representatives from each Grade 11 and Grade 12 ABM group, ensuring that those leading the preparation for the ABM Market Fair could gain valuable insights from industry professionals.

Through the insights of Ms. Shai Guerrero and Mr. Bertzon Cabusi, we gained perspectives from individuals who actively work in the creative and marketing industry.

Ms. Shai Guerrero introduced us to the world of digital storytelling—its elements, its power, and the golden rules behind creating stories that truly connect with people. By sharing a compilation of her creative works, she demonstrated how simple ideas can grow into powerful messages that capture attention and leave a lasting impact.

Meanwhile, Mr. Bertzon Cabusi discussed experiential design and the art of storytelling in events. He explained how thoughtful concepts, audience engagement, and creative direction can transform ordinary activities into meaningful experiences. More importantly, he guided us on how experiential design and storytelling can be integrated—from conceptualizing ideas to designing experiences that audiences can see, feel, and remember.

With these insights, we now move forward with stronger ideas and clearer direction as we prepare for the ABM Market Fair. As leaders and representatives of our respective groups, we carry these lessons with us—not only to market our products, but also to create booths, experiences, and stories that will truly stand out.

More than just a seminar, The Creative Current seminar reminded us that behind every strong brand, product, or event is a story waiting to be shared. And as ABM students, we are ready to turn our ideas into experiences that people will remember.

𝗔𝗕𝗠𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀 | 𝗗𝗜𝗗 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪?

Subscriptions are services you pay for regularly, usually monthly or yearly to continue using a product or platform. While each subscription may seem affordable on its own, having multiple subscriptions can quickly add up over time. A small monthly fee might feel insignificant, but when combined with others and calculated over a year, it can amount to hundreds or even thousands of pesos. Being aware of your subscriptions and managing them wisely is an important step toward smarter financial decisions and better budgeting.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁: 𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻, 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆

Some ideas sound impressive in a pitch. Others stay with people long after the campaign ends. The Junior Marketing Association – Saint Louis College Chapter presents The Creative Current: Riding the Waves of Design, Story, and Strategy, a seminar created for marketing and business students who want to see how creativity truly operates in the field. This event is part of this year’s organizational theme, “Beyond the Pitch: Ideas that Move, Creativity that Innovates,” focusing on creativity that innovates. In marketing, a strong concept does more than look appealing; it shapes how people understand a message, how they remember a brand, and whether they choose to engage with it at all.

Participants will explore how creative ideas take shape from early concepts to finished campaigns and events. The discussion will cover how visual decisions affect brand perception, how storytelling adds weight and meaning to messages, and how creative strategies translate imagination into work that audiences actually respond to. For students who want a clearer picture of creative work beyond the classroom, this seminar offers a chance to listen, ask questions, and see how design, story, and strategy converge to create memorable marketing experiences.

𝐀𝐁𝐌 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐃 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐊✝️

Deuteronomy 31:6 reminds us to be strong and courageous even when we feel afraid or uncertain. It encourages us not to fear because God promises to go with us wherever we go. This verse teaches that we are never alone in facing challenges, struggles, or new beginnings. Just as the Israelites were about to enter an unfamiliar land, we also experience moments of doubt and change in our lives. However, this passage assures us that God will not leave or abandon us. Because of this promise, we can move forward with confidence, knowing that His presence gives us strength and courage in every situation.

Shoreline Shine: ABM Students in Action! 🍀

A day filled with purpose, teamwork, and shared responsibility marked the coastal clean up conducted by the ABM Club last February 1, 2026, in Carlatan, San Fernando, La Union in collaboration with the Samahang Filipino Club.
