‼️KASO NG DENGUE SA BANSA, MABABA BAGO DUMAAN ANG MGA BAGYO; DOH NAGPAALALANG GAWIN ANG TAOB, TAKTAK, TUYO, TAKIP ‼️

Mula sa 15,182 na kaso sa linggo ng September 28 hanggang October 11 ay bumaba ang kaso ng dengue ng 8% sa linggo ng October 12 hanggang October 25, 2025 na may 14,038 na kaso.

Matatandaang ito ang linggo bago manalasa ang mga bagyong Tino at Uwan na nagdulot ng malawakang pagbaha sa iba’t ibang rehiyon sa bansa.

Matapos ang bagyo, mataas ang posibilidad na may mga naiwang containers na naimbakan ng tubig na pwedeng pangitlugan ng lamok na aedes aegypti.

Kaya naman, muling nagpapaalala ang ahensya na ‘wag maging kampante at mas paigtingin ang pagsasagawa ng taob, taktak, tuyo, at takip sa mga lagayang naimbakan ng tubig gaya ng sirang gulong, paso, basurahan at iba pa.

Paalala pa rin ng ahensya na agad magpakonsulta kung sakaling makaramdam ng sintomas gaya ng:

SANFERNANDOHANONS, CALL FOR APPLICANTS!

The office of the Cebu Vice Governor, Glenn Soco, has written to inform that 20 scholarship grants for the Cebu Provincial Grants Intended for Tertiary Students (CP-GIFTS) have been allocated to our municipality.

Interested qualifying applicants shall accomplish and bring the requirements to the Office of the Mayor and look for SKF President Ashley Gayle Canoy Reville.

The following requirements must be submitted:

1. Report Card with a general weighted average of at least 85%;
2. Certificate of Good Moral Character signed by the principal and endorsed by the District Supervisor (if photocopy, it must be authenticated);
3. Barangay Certification to show proof that he/she is a resident thereof;
4. Voter's ID/Voter's Certificate duly issued by the COMELEC;
5. Income Tax Return/Tax Exemption of parents or guardian duly issued by the BIR;
6. Letter of Attestation attesting/certifying that he/she is not a beneficiary of any other scholarship program;
7. Study Load/Certificate of Enrollment with current College Course of which the student is enrolled; and
8. Student Information Form which shall be completely filled out.

IN EMPHASIS, THE LGU SAN FERNANDO WOULD ONLY BE ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE ‘20 APPLICANTS’ ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS.

Deadline for Submission or Application is on NOVEMBER 26, 2025.

Last weekend was full of sweat, tears, laughter, and cheers!! Balud National High School is proud and thankful to everyone who participated, showed up and supported us in the Municipal Meet 2025.

We were hailed as the Third Runner Up in Overall ranking from the different participating high schools in the municipality of San Fernando, and it is all because of you!

So thank you!

Our school would also want to give appreciation to our school head Mam Grela Siarza, our teachers, PTA Officers, and other stakeholders for always including our school in your thoughts and supporting us in the best way you can. We are forever grateful! May God bless everyone who have made these event a success and for that may God be praised!
