Bringing Health and Hope to Isla Solomon

Last December 8, 2025, the CMLS Faculty Outreach/Extension Activity provided the Isla Solomon community in Pugo, La Union with health education, hygiene kits, food, clothing, Safeguard soaps, and basic laboratory services such as blood typing, urinalysis, and blood glucose testing.

This meaningful initiative was made possible through the collaboration of the CMLS Faculty, student organizations (ROTA, RCYC, SBO), second-year CPH students, and our partners PAMET La Union and UST Medical Technology Batch 1971.

📌 Reminder

All students must wear their ID and the proper uniform on the following days:

- Monday & Thursday: Institutional uniform
- Tuesday & Friday: Clinical uniform
- Wednesday & Saturday: Departmental uniform

Grooming Guidelines:

- Women: Clean bun hairstyle when wearing clinical uniform, departmental uniform, and scrub suits
- Men: Maintain proper haircut

Let’s uphold discipline and professionalism by following these rules consistently.

In celebration of Medical Technology Week, the CMLS Department organized a Mobile Blood Donation Drive last September 24, 2025 at CHS FB building, Rooms 301 and 302, in collaboration with Lorma Medical Center.

This event was made possible through the generosity of student donors and the steadfast support of Lorma Medical Center. Their contributions will go a long way in replenishing blood stocks and saving countless lives.

Until then, we look forward to continuing this meaningful initiative in the future, fostering more opportunities to give and serve.
