Last June 16, 2025, the members of the Assumption Liturgical Team for Animation, Ritual, and Evangelization (ALTARE), headed by the University President, Rev. Fr. Oliver G. Yalung, had their initial meeting in preparation for the upcoming academic year.
ALTARE was created through University President Memo No. 26, Series of 2024โ2025, to serve as the central body responsible for the planning, coordination, celebration, and evaluation of all liturgical activities in the university. It aims to ensure that all celebrationsโwhether **Eucharistic, sacramental, or devotionalโ**are carried out with pastoral sensitivity, theological depth, and liturgical excellence.
As an educational institution under the auspices of the Archdiocese of San Fernando, Pampanga, the University of the Assumption embraces its mission of forming a faith-filled academic community where liturgy is not only celebrated with reverence but also becomes a living expression of the Churchโs evangelizing mission.
