On August 8, 2026, Catholic schools across Cebu gathered under one roof at the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral for the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) Eucharistic Celebration and Holy Spirit Massโ€”coming together not simply as different institutions, but as one Catholic educational community, united by one faith.

Among the faithful who joined this celebration were the SSLG Officers and our School Principal, standing alongside fellow students, educators, and members of Catholic schools from across Cebu.

In his homily, the Reverend entrusted us with three reminders: present our dreams and aspirations, honor those who have dedicated their lives to service, and have faith in God.

But perhaps the most profound reminder was this: we cannot truly see the beauty in one another until we recognize that we are all creations of God. Before we listen to one another, we must first learn to listen to Him. And when we place our faith in God, we learn to place our faith in one another.

Today, we gathered with different stories, different dreams, and different journeysโ€”but one faith brought us together.

May we carry this celebration beyond the walls of the Cathedral: to dream with purpose, to honor with gratitude, to listen with humility, and to trust with faith.
