In Japan, napping at work isn’t laziness — it’s a sign of dedication 🇯🇵💼

The practice is called inemuri (“sleeping while present”), and it’s surprisingly respected in Japanese culture. When an employee dozes off at their desk 🪑, it’s often seen as proof that they’ve been working so hard 🧠💥, they literally ran out of energy.

Instead of getting scolded, they’re admired for their effort. It shows commitment, persistence, and loyalty to their job. Even bosses may nap — and no one bats an eye. 😌

The idea? A short snooze means you’ll return more focused, productive, and even go home 🏠 with more energy and patience for your family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦.

So next time you feel tired, just remember: in Japan, a nap might mean you’re working too hard — and that’s a compliment. 😉💤
