In view of the latest advisory from the Pangasinan PDRRMO, alternative learning modes for schools will be implemented in Pangasinan tomorrow, August 19, 2026.

ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 19

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 129, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 19, 2026:

📍 National Capital Region (NCR)
📍 Abra
📍 Benguet
📍 Ilocos Sur
📍 La Union
📍 Pangasinan
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Nueva Ecija
📍 Pampanga
📍 Tarlac
📍 Zambales
📍 Batangas
📍 Cavite
📍 Laguna
📍 Rizal
📍 Occidental Mindoro
📍 Oriental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

In view of the latest directive from the Office of the Executive Secretary and the recommendation of the NDRRMC, St. Blaise Christian School, Inc. will implement the following for August 18, 2026:

🏠 Work-from-Home for School Personnel
💻 Alternative Learning Modes for Learners
🚫 No Face-to-Face Classes

This measure is being implemented as a precautionary measure due to the expected continuation of heavy rains brought by the habagat.

Sa Memorandum Circular No. 128 na nilagdaan ni Executive Secretary Ralph Recto, ipinag-utos ng Malacanang ang pagsasagawa ng Work-from-Home (WFH) sa mga tanggapan ng gobyerno at alternative learning modes sa lahat ng pampubliko at pribadong eskwelahan bukas, Agosto 18, bilang paghahanda sa inaasahang patuloy na pagbuhos ng malakas na ulan dulot ng habagat.

Alinsunod sa rekomendasyon ng National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), ipatutupad ang WFH at suspension ng face-to-face classes sa mga sumusunod na lugar:

Hindi sakop ng WFH ang mga ahensya ng pamahalaang may kinalaman sa pag-deliver ng basic at health services, preparasyon at pagtugon sa sakuna at kalamidad.

Ipinauubaya naman ng Malacanang sa mga Local Chief Executives ang kapangyarihang mag-pasiya kung kinakailangang suspendihin ang pasok sa mga lugar na kanilang nasasakupan na hindi napabilang sa memorandum circular.

Nasa diskresyon naman ng pamunuan ng pribadong sektor ang pagdeklara ng suspensyon sa trabaho.

📢 ADVISORY | CLASS SUSPENSION

For the safety of our learners, teachers, and staff, face-to-face classes at all levels are suspended on Thursday, August 6, 2026, in accordance with Executive Order No. 31, Series of 2026, due to the effects of Tropical Storm Maymay and the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

📚 Learning will continue through the Alternative Modes of Learning (AML). Kindly wait for your teachers' instructions.
