โAfter spending more than three decades in the classroom, Maโam Glenda Pimentel officially announced her retirement on June 15, 2026. Despite the announcement, she remained in service until Friday, June 19, which marked her final day of teaching. Her retirement brought mixed emotions to students, fellow teachers, and the community, who have witnessed her dedication and passion for education throughout the years.

โMaโam Glenda Pimentel served as a teacher for 35 years, helping shape the minds and character of countless students. Throughout her career, she became known not only for her commitment to teaching, but also for her kindness, patience, and willingness to help others. Many students remember her as someone who always encouraged them to do their best, no matter how difficult the challenges were. They also fondly recall her calm personality, her slow and gentle way of speaking, and her relaxed approach to teaching, which made her classes comfortable and enjoyable.

โDuring her years of service, Maโam Glenda handled different batches of students and witnessed many changes in the education system. Despite these changes, she remained committed to her profession and continued to provide quality education. Her ability to adapt and embrace new teaching methods demonstrated her dedication to her work.

โBeyond academics, Maโam Glenda also served as a mentor and role model. She inspired students to become responsible individuals and to pursue their dreams. Her words of encouragement often gave confidence to students who doubted themselves, making a lasting impact on their lives.

โHer colleagues also admired her strong work ethic and positive attitude. Many teachers described her as dependable and supportive, always ready to lend a helping hand whenever needed. Because of her years of service and contributions, she earned the respect and appreciation of both the school administration and her fellow educators.

โAbove all, students remember Maโam Glenda as a kind-hearted, understanding, approachable, and supportive teacher who always made them feel heard and valued. Beyond teaching lessons found in textbooks, she imparted valuable life lessons that students carried with them even outside the classroom. Many consider her one of the best teachers they have encountered, not only because of her knowledge, but because of the compassion and wisdom she shared throughout the years.

โAs Maโam Glenda begins a new chapter in her life, her legacy as a dedicated educator will continue to live on. Although she may have retired from teaching, the lessons, values, and memories she shared with her students will never be forgotten. Students will always remember her not only as a committed teacher but also as a calm, approachable, and easygoing mentor whose presence brought comfort and encouragement to those around her. Her 35 years of service stand as a testament to the difference one teacher can make in the lives of countless people.
