SAINT CHARLES ACADEMY GOES DIGITAL!!!

A New Step Toward Transparency, Efficiency, and Better Service

Saint Charles Academy continues to embrace digitalization, transparency, and compliance with the transition from manual to fully computerized invoicing and receipting.

As part of this important development, our Finance Department is now implementing BIR-compliant digital invoices and computerized collection receipts. This transition will make our financial transactions more organized, efficient, transparent, and accessible.

What does this mean for our parents and students?

Updated Account Balances will be communicated through the appropriate school channels.

Digital Invoices and Collection Receipts will be issued through the computerized system.

Statements of Account (SOA) and Accounts Receivable (AR) balances will be sent to the registered email addresses.

During the transition period, printed receipts will continue to be provided to help parents and students adjust to the new system.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to ensure that their official email addresses and contact numbers are updated in the school's records.

The sample documents show our new computerized invoice and collection receipt, including the school's BIR-registered information and system-generated acknowledgment details.

This initiative is more than just a change in paperwork. It is part of our commitment to building a more efficient, transparent, sustainable, and eco-friendly financial system for the Saint Charles Academy community.

20th Sunday in Ordinary Time - Is 22:19-23/Rom11:33-36/Mt 16:13-20

My dear brothers and sisters, today's Gospel is not simply about Peter. It is also about us.

Jesus is asking every one of us: “Who do you say that I am?” And perhaps our answer today should not remain only on our lips. It should become a way of life.

So let us remember three simple words:

1. KNOW.
Know Christ—not only with your mind, but with your heart.

2. TRUST.
When you cannot understand God's ways, trust that His wisdom is greater than ours.

3. SERVE.
Whatever responsibility God has entrusted to you, use it not for yourself but for others.

And perhaps today, we can make Peter's profession our own: “Lord Jesus, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” But let us add something personal: “You are my Lord. You are my hope. You are the One I choose to follow.”

And when life becomes confusing, let us simply pray:

“Lord, I may not understand everything, but I trust You. I may not know what tomorrow brings, but I know that You are with me. And whatever You have entrusted to me, teach me to use it not for my own glory, but for Your glory and for the service of others.” Amen.

REMEMBERING NINOY AQUINO: COURAGE THAT INSPIRES SERVICE

Today, we remember Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr.—a man whose courage, conviction, and love for the Filipino people became an important part of our nation’s history.

On this day of remembrance, we are also reminded that love for our country is expressed not only through great acts of courage, but also through simple acts of service and compassion.

Today, our SELG/SSLG Officers, Advisers, and Parents put this spirit of service into action as they distributed rice, canned goods, noodles, and bread to 35 families who evacuated at Aponit Elementary School.

Our student leaders also prepared and served sopas and bread to our brothers and sisters who are temporarily staying at the evacuation center.

Their service is a beautiful reminder that leadership is not merely about holding a position—it is about being present, reaching out, and serving those who are in need.

As we remember Ninoy Aquino’s courage and love for the Filipino people, may we also be inspired to ask ourselves:

How can I use what I have, wherever I am, to serve others and make a difference?

Today, our Charlesian student leaders, parents, and advisers answered that question through compassion in action.

May this spirit of faith, service, stewardship, and love for others continue to inspire our entire Charlesian community.

LEARNING CONTINUES AT SAINT CHARLES ACADEMY

Despite the continuing inclement weather, our Charlesian learners continue their lessons through Distance Learning using online platforms and other appropriate learning modalities.

Our students actively participated in their lessons through online classes and other distance learning platforms, guided by their teachers. Through these efforts, learning continues even when our students cannot physically be inside the classroom.

At Saint Charles Academy, we believe that learning has no boundaries. Even in challenging circumstances, our commitment to education remains strong—while always putting the safety and well-being of our learners first.

To our students, teachers, and parents, thank you for your cooperation, flexibility, and dedication to making learning continuity possible.

St. Charles Academy Embraces Digital Transformation!

We are pleased to share another milestone in the continuing digital transformation of St. Charles Academy.

Our school has now secured its BIR Acknowledgment Certificate for the use of a registered Computerized Accounting System (CAS) through QuickBooks Online.

This digitalization covers two important components:

1. BIR-Registered Computerized Invoicing
Our invoicing and receipt processes are now supported by a BIR-registered computerized system, promoting greater efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in our financial transactions.

2. BIR-Registered Computerized Books of Accounts
Our accounting records and books of accounts are likewise maintained through a BIR-registered computerized system, allowing for more organized, accurate, and efficient financial record-keeping.

Together, these form part of our registered Computerized Accounting System (CAS)—an important step toward modernizing our school’s financial and accounting operations.

This initiative reflects our commitment to transparency, accountability, efficiency, and responsible stewardship of school resources. More than simply adopting new technology, we are building systems that support better service to our students, parents, employees, and the entire St. Charles Academy community.

A more digital St. Charles Academy—a more efficient, transparent, and accountable institution.
