On July 30, 2026, the PSO San Carlos Campus conducted its Initial Peer Support Orientation with the officers and newly recruited members. The orientation aimed to strengthen the commitment of student peer facilitators in promoting mental health awareness and providing support to fellow students.
During the program, participants engaged in discussions on Constitution and by Laws , the presentation of the Calendar of Activities, and an orientation led by the Guidance Counselor highlighting the do’s and don’ts of being a peer facilitator. These sessions provided valuable insights into the responsibilities of peer supporters and the importance of fostering a safe, supportive environment within the campus.
The orientation marks the beginning of a collaborative journey toward building a compassionate and student-centered peer support system.

Central Philippines State University proudly congratulates our University Psychometrician, Dr. Jirec A. Bacongco, and San Carlos Campus Guidance Counselor, Mr. Danilo A. Roblico Jr., for receiving certifications as Certified Forensic Psychology-Expert Level by the Philippine Psychotraumatology and Forensic Institute Psychetrendz Psychological and Counseling Clinic.

Dr. Bacongo and Mr. Roblico completed the Institutional Certification Training and Qualifying Examination in Forensic Psychology and are now Certified Forensic Psychology Experts.

This remarkable achievement reflects their unwavering commitment to professional excellence and their dedication to delivering high-quality psychological services to the Cenphilian community. It also shows the University's commitment to supporting professional growth and continuous development for its faculty and staff.

GUIDANCE SERVICES ORIENTATION | AY 2026–2027

The Student Admission and Facilitative Enhancement (S.A.F.E.) Center of Central Philippines State University – San Carlos Campus successfully conducted the Guidance Services Orientation for incoming students.

The orientation introduced the various guidance and counseling services available to students, emphasizing the importance of mental wellness, personal growth, academic success, and seeking help when needed. Through this activity, students were encouraged to become responsible, resilient, and empowered members of the CPSU community.

We sincerely thank all the students for their active participation and enthusiasm. Together, let us build a campus where every student feels supported, valued, and empowered.

𝘼 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙍𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧

As we officially open classes this coming Monday, June 29, at the CPSU San Carlos Campus, the Peer Support Organization (PSO) wants to remind everyone that your well-being matters just as much as your grades. A new semester brings exciting opportunities, but it can also bring stress, which is why taking care of your mental health should always be a priority.

To our incoming first-year students, welcome to college life! It is completely normal to feel a mix of excitement and anxiety right now. Adjusting to a new environment, new routines, and heavier academic loads takes time. Please remember to pace yourselves, be kind to yourself as you learn the ropes, and know that you do not have to carry the weight of these changes alone.

To our second to fourth-year students, welcome back! You already know how demanding college can get, especially as major subjects, midterms, and deadlines begin to pile up. As you push through your academic goals, please remember to listen to your mind and body. Take breaks when you need them, look out for one another, and never hesitate to reach out for support when things become overwhelming.
