Today, August 21, we remember 𝑩𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒏𝒐 “𝑵𝒊𝒏𝒐𝒚” 𝑨𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒏𝒐 𝑱𝒓., a Filipino who showed 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒈𝒆, 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒑𝒂𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒐𝒕𝒊𝒔𝒎 in standing for 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒅𝒐𝒎 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒅𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒄𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒚. His sacrifice reminds us that loving our country is not only about words, but also about having the courage to 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒖𝒑 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕.
