In light of the recent tragic incident that occurred in a school in Tacloban City, where young lives were lost and several others were injured, GOSPEL OF CHRIST SCHOOL OF SAN CARLOS,INC. stands in solidarity with the affected families, students, and educators. We offer our prayers and deepest condolences to everyone impacted by this heartbreaking event.

The safety and security of our learners remain our highest priority. Effective immediately, GOSPEL OF CHRIST SCHOOL OF SAN CARLOS,INC. will implement 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗯𝗮𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶-𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻.

Students are strictly prohibited from bringing the following items onto school premises:

• Weapons of any kind, including knives, fi****ms, and sharp objects
• Ci******es and to***co products
• Electronic ci******es (e-ci******es) and v**e devices
• Lighters, matches, and other fire-starting materials
• Alcoholic beverages and intoxicating substances
• Any item that may compromise the safety, health, and well-being of the school community

These inspections are preventive measures 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲, 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘆, 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗳, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀. We respectfully ask for the cooperation and understanding of our students, parents, and guardians as we strengthen our commitment to campus safety.

Schools must be places where parents can confidently entrust their children, knowing they are protected and cared for throughout the day.

We also recognize that incidents of violence can cause fear and anxiety. Any student experiencing emotional distress is encouraged to seek support from a trusted teacher, parent, or guardian. Our Guidance Office remains open and available to provide counseling and assistance.

The final day of the GCS Team Building was spent enjoying the refreshing scenery and cool atmosphere of Picnic Grove, Tagaytay.

As the team explored the beautiful surroundings, shared conversations, and captured memorable moments together, everyone was given the opportunity to reflect on the meaningful experiences of the past two days before heading home.
The three-day journey was more than just a getaway. It was a time of growth, learning, fellowship, and spiritual renewal.

As the team journeyed home on Day 3, everyone carried with them not only wonderful memories but also valuable lessons that will continue to guide them in their ministry and profession. This team-building experience reminded us that a strong team is built on trust, communication, cooperation, and a shared purpose. More importantly, it taught us that true unity is found when Christ remains at the center of everything we do. As educators, we are called not only to teach but also to inspire, serve, and love others through our words and actions.

Day 2 of the GCS Team Building began with a meaningful worship service, reminding everyone of the importance of casting our cares upon God through the acronym 𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗧— 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗲, 𝗔𝘀𝗸, 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁. This powerful message encouraged all participants to rely on God's guidance and strength in both their personal lives and professional calling.

The morning continued with an energizing Zumba session that promoted wellness, enthusiasm, and teamwork among the teachers.

This was followed by two enriching seminar sessions led by the Alpha Ministry through Brother Rodel Banting. 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟭: 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗼-𝗘𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 emphasized that “𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲,” highlighting the importance of compassion and genuine care in the teaching profession. Participants were reminded that an effective teacher must first be an effective person, nurturing not only academic growth but also the emotional well-being of students.

𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮: 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝗨𝗽, 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗨𝗽: 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 focused on the value of initiative and purposeful communication. Teachers were encouraged to speak words that inspire, uplift, and motivate others, while also stepping up through effective actions that demonstrate leadership, responsibility, and commitment to excellence.

In the afternoon, the participants engaged in exciting team-building activities facilitated by Alpha Ministry. The games, including 𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗦𝗸𝘆𝘄𝗮𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲, challenged the teams to work together, communicate effectively, and trust one another. These activities strengthened teamwork, cooperation, and camaraderie while creating memorable moments of fun and learning.

The day concluded with an evening devotion, allowing everyone to reflect on the lessons learned and to give thanks for God's continued guidance throughout the team's journey.

The first day of the GCS Team Building began with the departure and arrival of all participants at 𝗠𝗮𝗽𝘀𝗮 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗮, 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗮𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗲, 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘆𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱. It was a wonderful opportunity for both new and returning teachers to meet, connect, and strengthen the bonds that unite the Gospel of Christ School family.

In the afternoon, the teachers gathered for a Get-Together Session, where meaningful conversations, shared experiences, and warm fellowship helped foster stronger relationships among colleagues. This was followed by exciting team competitions, including the Cheer and Yell Contest and the Rebuzz Challenge, which encouraged teamwork, creativity, and camaraderie among the participants.

The day concluded with a heartfelt bonfire gathering, symbolizing the light, unity, and fellowship shared by everyone. Several teachers courageously shared their personal testimonies, inspiring and encouraging one another through their experiences. The evening ended with a devotion, reminding everyone of God's faithfulness and setting a spiritual tone for the days ahead.
